Any further report on Joe Allen moving along?
I'm a Swansea lad myself, and a lot of the talk from the fans here is that the club is expecting to sign him.
Always thought highly of the boy myself, I may be one of the few that would be sad to see him go after the effort he had put in the latter half of last season.
Just wondering if this is why there's been little update on the move to Stoke, is he holding out for the Swans to come back in for him?

If Joe wants to move back to Swansea then it will happen. My understanding is he's really torn. He's settled where he is, but has strong connections with Swansea and lots of family living locally. He's also tempted by a move abroad should an offer come in.
I was talking with someone very senior at Swansea recently and they are still keen, it's more a case of whether Joe wants that move.

BBC latest suggesting Allen having medical with Stoke ahead of the move - assume Swansea never came back with the money to match that deal.

I see nothing has been posted in a while about him and the move to Boro seems to of broken down.

We have just signed Ragner, so doubt any more centre backs really, but we do like to have strength in numbers on certain positions so you never know lol! Ps I do like that name Ragner, it just sounds like a no nonsense name, or is that because I watch Vikings?

He hasn't just failed his medical, he has been told he is unlikely to play football again. He has a heart problem which is getting worse. Dortmund obviously know this and recognise that no club will buy him.

Looks like Chilwell has signed a new contract. I would hope to see us push on with the other optential LB options now.
