Hi eds,

Seen a rumour about us being interested in a young striker from Paris FC with a quality name, Wamangituka.

Know anything about it/ him? doesn't really make much sense to me with the likes of Brewster Duncan and Glatzel trying to break through.

Cheers eds.

Devine97

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any declaration of interest from Liverpool in Silas Wamangituka but he has certainly been watched by them, Barcelona and numerous other sides, including several from England such as Brighton, Leicester and Spurs. A problem the English sides have is he will never be eligible to be home grown and would likely not get a work permit - whereas Barcelona don't have any such issues. I would not hold your breath.}

Cheers Eds02, excuse my ignorance, but why are the rules different around the European Union regarding work permits, ie our young striker always on loan and this lad playing in France and no problem in Spain?

{Ed002's Note - The rules are the same for people in the European Union moving from country to country to work, but local rules in each country apply regarding Work Permits for people outside of the European Union.}

Hi eds,

Seen people on social media debating whether the FA should scrap 3rd and 4th place qualification for the champions league and give qualification to the winners of the league cup and fa cup.

Is that something that has been discussed by the fa before? Or is it something that uefa would decide rather than the fa?

Also what's everyones opinions on it? Would certainly see teams taking the cups more seriously but could have an impact on the league if there are only 2 places available.

Devine97

{Ed002's Note - Certainly there has never been discussion about giving a place to the winners of the League Cup. In the past 20 years only on handful of occasions have the FA Cup winners not come from the top four but it has been discussed and discounted. in the past.}

If that was to happen, then Klopp would have to change his attitude towards cup games. Out of the 4 teams left in the so called Mickey mouse cup,3 are in the top 4. And we are the only team in the top 6 that is out of the FA cup. Makes yoù wonder, if our fringe players are up to it, compared to other teams.

Salah to win everything pretty much. Trent AA to win young player of the season.

Morning Eds and reds,

Any news on Clyne's return? Also do you think Klopp will see him as first choice when he does return or do you think he sees Gomez and Trent above him in the pecking order?

Devine97

1.) 09 Nov 2017 14:07:35
I remember it was being hinted that Clyne won’t return to the club.

2.) 09 Nov 2017 16:27:14
Correct.

3.) 09 Nov 2017 17:56:39
its turning out to be a strange situation, I hope that he returns soon, and starts playing a bit of footy again .

4.) 10 Nov 2017 06:18:28
Can anyone say or hint as to why?

Is it because his injury is much more serious than originally reported, or has there been a major bust up with the management?

Come on, spill the beans!

Hoffenheim in the champions league play offs.
Tricky game but that's what we love about the champions league!

Hi eds and all,

First time poster here, does anyone know the date of when we find out who we face in the champions league qualifiers? Fingers crossed it's not a tricky one! 🤞.

I believe we find out our opponents in the first week in August and then the two-legged play-off is playing the same month.

2.) 19 Jun 2017 17:07:25
4th August is the draw with games 16/ 17th and 23/ 24th August.

There will be plenty of bars in the city centre to watch it and the atmosphere will be amazing. Also read that they might be showing it at the Echo Arena like the last couple of finals.

Waro I'm a scouser and the majority of Liverpool fans I know from Liverpool don't have any issues with how the owners are running our club. To say they're only interested in signing young players for low fees isn't true considering we've just splashed out £75 million on a 26 year old. I would also argue that Coutinho wasn't on very average wages before he left, I'm sure he was on around 200,000 a week?
