31 May 2019 17:33:11
getting nervous for tomorrow, the fact that im going to watch it with 3 spurs fans is making me brick it!
Could see us losing against them tomorrow, especially remembering how well they played against us at anfield. let's hope we turn up and smash them!

1.) 31 May 2019 17:54:43
Not being arrogant but I don't expect anything other a win tomorrow and i'm so not nervous at all. We are more experienced in finals now (which came handy for Madrid last year) and we know Spurs at crucial games plus if the monsters that turned up against Barcelona turns up against Spurs, I see a convincing win. In any case, we're Liverpool! A far better side with a new found hunger to win. I believe we'll get over the line.

2.) 31 May 2019 18:28:57
We are getting number 6 tomorrow.

Enjoy the game.

3.) 31 May 2019 18:34:01
The Reds in Madrid are already off to a flying start - Margaret Thatcher Square in the city has been renamed Jeremy Corbyn Square.
C’mon you mighty reds 🚩.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think corbyn is much of an upgrade on that other witch thatcher juicer, as a lifelong labour voter i cant vote for such an extremist left wing racist like him, get shut of that anti-semitic dinosaur and appoint someone like andy burnham for me mate..

4.) 31 May 2019 18:44:26
Love the positivity, boys BUT let's just keep in mind that it will be a VERY tough game vs a fearless Spurs side. Apart from that, #LetsTakeThe6th.

5.) 31 May 2019 19:13:10
Ed25, you and I share the same views on politics, by the sound of it. I was all for Andy Burnham becoming leader, till Unite got the Marxist Corbyn elected.
Please forgive me, I forgot this was a football site!

{Ed025's Note - its ok rome because there are no important games coming up at the moment :) corbyn is unelectable for me mate..

6.) 31 May 2019 19:14:10
As long as they’re Red, Ed 🖐☝️.

{Ed025's Note - well i will be cheering the guys on tomorrow juicer, i dont think i will be singing any songs but you never know because im on the lash from 4 pm mate..

7.) 31 May 2019 19:40:18
Corbyn is a total scumbag traitor. The only good thing about a spurs win tomorrow is that corbyn will hate it.

{Ed025's Note - dont say that lord ha ha, or i might have to cheer on the spurs mate.. :)

8.) 31 May 2019 20:07:37
Totally unelectable mate. Alongside his hateful cronies McDonnell and Abbott.
I'll shut up!

{Ed025's Note - yeah mate there are more important things tomorrow...the derby in horse racing...and the joshua fight.. :)

9.) 31 May 2019 20:17:04
Ha ha. I've said before, you've a good sense of humour for a blue nose. Or maybe that's why you've got a sense of humour! Either way, I could share a bottle of Southern Comfort with you.
I may post something football related later. If only I could remember what was happening tomorrow.

{Ed025's Note - new zealand are playing sri lanka in the cricket world cup, and its the ladies open in golf..i think thats it mate.. :)

10.) 31 May 2019 20:17:23
We smashed them at Wembley this season, 5-0 wouldn’t have flattered us. We could’ve been 3-0 up at half time at Anfield we were so dominant in the first half.
Second half they were better but without really threatening too much until a quick free kick caught us off guard. Then they hit us on the break a couple of times as we pushed for a winner, which we eventually got.
Nothing to worry about if you ask me. Yes they are a good side but we are better. YNWA.

11.) 31 May 2019 20:32:05
I'm sure it's the heats of the World Wellie Wanging Championships too, Ed. I can see me having to tape the football, with all that's going on!

{Ed025's Note - love it rome..

12.) 31 May 2019 21:26:39
Where you watching it ed25?

{Ed025's Note - allerton rd mate, 8 reds and 2 blues going for a chinese first to put a lining on the stomach then drink to oblivion...hopefully celebrating a red victory..

13.) 31 May 2019 21:35:24
Have a good one mate👍.

{Ed025's Note - yeah you too kidder..

14.) 31 May 2019 21:46:34
Top man, Ed.

I will probably get slaughtered on here for asking you this, but out of curiosity, when you get chance, name your all time favourite Everton XI.
Players that you've actually seen.

This is all to take my mind off tomorrow. I may have a go myself. I go back to the 70s.

Like I say, folk will no doubt scream, "this is a Liverpool site". Just a bit of fun and banter, that's all.

All the best, mate. Enjoy your chinese.

{Ed025's Note - i will give you my spine rome....southall, lyons, kendall, latchford, big bob was my boyhood idol and could head a ball better than anyone i have ever seen mate..

15.) 31 May 2019 21:49:24
Looking over from Australia I really can't believe how bad it is all your politicians have done everything they can to ruin brexit and are looking for a second referendum so they can get there way and not the people's. It was voted for, just get it done. Correct me if I'm wrong.

16.) 31 May 2019 22:32:32
you aren't wrong mark, its scandalous mate.

17.) 31 May 2019 22:40:07
Cheers Ed. I would chuck in Gary Stevens, Alan Ball, Ratcliffe, to name but 3.

And your view is shared by many, Mark.

{Ed025's Note - all good players rome, trevor steven would be a shoe in as well mate..

18.) 31 May 2019 23:09:11
Was going to say Trevor Steven, great little player. Undecided who to have partnering your big Bob. Between Sharp, Gray and Lineker (not sure he qualifies only having played one season)

Peter Reid, and I always rated Bracewell.

19.) 01 Jun 2019 03:46:34
So if there's another referendum and brexit is cancelled, will they do a best of three?

04 May 2019 12:24:21
Worrying stat:
Liverpool haven't won away newcastle in the last 4 games!

1.) 04 May 2019 12:41:23
Until today.

2.) 04 May 2019 15:20:02
Means absolutely nothing no offence, OP. Those teams that lost there (including Klopp's team when he first arrived) are nowhere NEAR the quality, sheer ability, determination and focus that this team currently possesses hence, the record is irrelevant. Now, will it be a tough game? Absolutely. Do we have the tools to beat them? Absolutely, yes. We shall see in a few hours time.

3.) 04 May 2019 17:10:47
Hopefully Rafa puts Mike Ashley in goal.

4.) 05 May 2019 16:01:28
2-1 to Newcastle.

17 Apr 2019 19:36:10
Almost hoping City beat spurs tonight in the hope they lose in the league against them at the weekend. So nervous for the football this week!

1.) 17 Apr 2019 21:38:30
It's a mad game Dean. 4-4 on aggregate. If Spurs go through as they will be at this present time will make Saturday very interesting, will Spurs be able to do it two games running. I know technically they are loosing on the night but you know what I mean.

2.) 17 Apr 2019 21:55:59
OH. MY. WORD. City score in the second minuet of stoppage time through Sterling and its disallowed for offside. VAR again working well, correct decision. Spurs are through on away goals. Wow.

3.) 17 Apr 2019 22:04:02
Spurs confidence will be flying high while City will search for revenge. The weekend game will be a hell of a fight.

{Ed0333's Note - City will be a dangerous animal now mate. Beware of their wrath now that their out of the Champions League. How funny is that? 😁🤣

4.) 17 Apr 2019 22:38:32
City play on confidence. We’ve seen it before when they lose one they go on a bad run. Let’s hope that continues on Saturday. I’m confident of spurs getting a result. At least a draw I reckon.

5.) 17 Apr 2019 23:00:07
I was just thinking Ed, City play Liecester soon don't they. If they get over tonight and beat Spurs and United, can you imagine Brenda's ego boost if Liecester get a result against them . " I won Liverpool the leauge this season, I've been planning it since 2014, all me, no one else involved! "

{Ed0333's Note - brilliant made laugh that mate. I can just see Mr Rogers planning his team tactics now.

6.) 17 Apr 2019 23:17:18
It’s only funny ed if we don’t come up short in both comps, of this kicks city up the backside to wrap the title up, we best hope we win the CL!

{Ed0333's Note - it’s funny because they’ve thrown a sovereign fund at winning the champions league and a team that spends -24p every transfer window beats them.

7.) 17 Apr 2019 23:29:48
Or Ed0333, City are emotionally and mentally in tatters and Pep will have a HUGE job on his hands, trying to lift them up to go another 12 rounds vs a bouyant, confident Spurs team who ruined their CL season (and made Pep an even weaker manager in the CL) and actually, NEEDS a result. This Sat. game will be a hum-dinger, for sure.

{Ed0333's Note - Humdinger is exactly what it will be mate. Loving this season. So many permutations.

8.) 18 Apr 2019 03:15:05
I like that eds33 -24p every window beats them XD. Well played Spurs.

{Ed0333's Note - it’s ironic no?

31 Mar 2019 18:46:21
Haha Warnock has stated "play the U23s and keep it down to 10 or 11-0."
Come on fella can't you do us a favour and at least try for the draw!

1.) 31 Mar 2019 19:29:13
Was going to write this! Annoys me that so many teams give up when playing city.

Yes city are brilliant but I wish teams would atleast try rather than just sit back and let city walk 4 or 5 goals in without breaking a sweat.

2.) 31 Mar 2019 20:43:25
Colin lives up to his name.
He’ll never forgive Liverpool for playing a weakened team prior to the champions league final meaning his beloved Blades got relegated.

3.) 31 Mar 2019 21:32:54
Does anyone honestly think the result will be different if Cardiff play their strongest or weakest team against City? There's not much difference.

4.) 31 Mar 2019 23:12:39
Good point polecat
Still its morally wrong but he isn't breaking the law. Oys not the cardiff game thay will tip this title race and tjats spurs and utd, both fighting for top 4.

5.) 31 Mar 2019 23:18:47
To be fair to Warnock, it was probably a bit tongue in cheek as he was thinking “what’s the point? ”, because they’re not going to have a chance with the officials, let alone against City themselves. Cardiff were robbed today and he was just angry and deflated. If anything I think it may pump them up a bit. But maybe that's just wishful thinking.

6.) 31 Mar 2019 23:39:35
Exactly, Polecat. It is not going to matter what team Warnock puts out. Cardiff will get the hiding their inferiority vis-a-vis City deserves. Not bothered and neither are our boys and Klopp.

7.) 01 Apr 2019 06:40:36
I have no love for warnock but that offside call yesterday was one of the worst calls I can recall in the league. Absolutely shocking.

8.) 01 Apr 2019 09:42:00
I do think Colin was saying it due to the officials performance rather than his dislike of Liverpool however as polecat has already stated, it won't make a difference what team he plays. I would also like to just add, everybody 'media mainly' that we are lucky should look at the bad luck we have had such as the injury to gomaz that was a 6 ~ 8 week injury that turned to four months. And also the John stones clearance that was 1cm from cruising the line. I think Luis ghost goal was less of a goal than that. All in saying its luck, God and bad plays a part but without effort and the will to keep going for it then it means nothing. come on red men, 6 to go YNWA.

29 Oct 2018 21:51:22
Hi Eds, Do you think Pool can actually challenge City this year for the title? The more I see of City, the more unstoppable they seem.

{Ed025's Note - if they keep their key players fit then there is no reason why liverpool cant make a serious challenge for the title dean..

1.) 29 Oct 2018 22:27:59
Cardinal error by Tottenham Grimers this evening, they should have gone for the field goal and the draw on the last down there.

2.) 29 Oct 2018 22:57:06
Juicer, you're a riot, man. I think they did go for the field goal earlier BUT Lamela shanked it with only the goalpost to beat.

3.) 30 Oct 2018 11:55:29
They can afford to have key players out due to injuries/ suspensions e. g. KDB without a significant drop off in quality. We just can't match them in this way. But our first XI is probably on par with them.

We got to take things one game at a time and hope other teams pick points off them. It's a shame Lamela missed that sitter tonight.

4.) 30 Oct 2018 11:56:09
Spurs have a good enough team to take points off City at home but Poch threw the game tonight by leaving Winks on the bench- cos he wants to get sacked, paid off, and go and manage Real Madrid in sunny Spain. It's a conspiracy.

5.) 30 Oct 2018 19:58:16
Stoneage, poor gamble by Poch then cos he would struggle there as well and get sacked within 3 months. Coaching RM right now, is poisonous and if he's smart he'd better stay at Spurs or look at other options if does not want to get embarrassed like the other clown Lopetegui did.

Think we should have thought about a CAM, so far we are relying on:
Keita - who I don't think has shown the quality to be a top player so far
OX - who's just come back from a year out, and has yet to prove himself, though i would expect he gets that chance this year.
And i guess Lallana!

Don't understand the move?
We have Gomez, lovren, Matip, all fighting for 2nd CB position, with Youngens like Hoever who performed well, surely Hoever would be ahead in the pecking order after how well he played?

Big Ed001, would you shell out for CAM next season if you were a manager? Assuming we don't lose any players to transfers.
Or would you try out some of the youth that looks good at the moment? Kent/ Wilson/ Brewster?

{Ed001's Note - Brewster is not really a CAM from what I have seen. Kent is nowhere near good enough and I have my doubts about Wilson. It really depends on who goes as to who we need to buy though.}

We only got stronger to the 80th minute, we could have very easily considered, ings had two clear opportunities, one of which was an open goal.

Got to say, City surely win most of the domestic stuff this year, they just have so much more quality. Plus if we get injuries we are screwed, losing alison first game is awful!

City still won though, I think City are the best team in the world at the moment arguably.

Its just pre season, no need to go all crazy!

Oh god, i forgot that tackle, was super early, can't even remember if he got the yellow. People loved kompany that his consistent dirty tackles went under the radar. Probably in the same vein as how some of our fanbase still like suarez.
