Would represent better value for money than Mendy, but he isn't as good as Mendy. If you know what I mean?
The other thing about Amavi though, is he is settled in England, whilst Mendy has been chilling in Monaco and might find it difficult to adjust to Nothern England. For Amavi, he could move to Hull and it would be an improvement. I wouldn't wish Birmingham on my worst enemy!

Amavi is a decent left back, he can defend competently and is no mug going forward, proven in the premier league until his injury and been Villa's best player in the Championship. I'll bet if it weren't for his wages he'd be staying.

Personal opinion not big fan of vvd especially with cost.
Not hear to talk about that though more about grujic would like to see him involved more don't get the sudden interest in Alex oxlaide chamberlain who is a failed winger wanting be a cm. Milner was good winger who got old became bad winger who wanted be a cm, square pegs round holes why not use a player we own who actually plays that position. Ps Milner had good season at lb not knocking him.

If true mr ed 002 owes me an apology from my post on 1st august were he shot me down in flames for suggesting this idea.
{Ed002's Note - Keita does not have a "buy out clause". He has a "release clause" that is not now nor will ever be of relevance to Liverpool. Whatever Liverpool end up paying for the player will be unrelated to that "release clause". Try not to be an embarrassing DF.}

I loved Westerveld only big mistake was when he come for corner and punched backwards into his own net. But gave me one of my best memories was in restaurant on holiday it was packed and when he did that my dad jumped up swore badly and had to apologise to whole restaurant 120+ people.
