Don't know if this has been covered before couldn't find anything but why does it takes such a long time to get all the papers done signing new players? take minamino for exmeple which we agreed on over a week ago. I understand working permit is one thing and registration to FA another but can't they send file for WP before the registration is complete? And has there been any mention of drop the idea of a limited transfer window, I mean I don't see the point of it.

Transfers cannot be processed until the transfer window is open - and that includes the need to obtain international clearance. There are no plans to change the January window - but the summer window may return to align with others.}

Ed002, I'm not sure exactly how you framed this, so I'm not quoting you verbatim. But you sort of hinted that you didn't expect any issue with Minamino's work permit. Do you know if the Club has indeed obtained the work permit on his behalf, or is that still in the works? Based on what you said above, this can be obtained ahead of time. I know he (Minamino) can't play until he has the work permit, right? Klopp had hinted he might play against Everton, so does that mean the work permit has been obtained?

Mbappe is already at PSG as they got him on loan enroute to a permanent deal for this season. RM can't afford Salah, (they want Neymar and to some extent, Hazard) as said before and Dybala is a pipe dream, a complete fantasy laced in pixie dust. I think I just about covered it.

Spot on, Prince. In fact, Neymar always wanted to go to RM since his Santos days so many were surprised he went to Barca. Falcao did the same thin as well. RM wanted him and he wanted Real BUT since Atletico would NEVER sell to them, he went to Monaco and thought RM would come for him and then he did his knee and well, the rest is history.

It’ll be tough to get a ticket I imagine, a lot of season ticket holders fighting over what remains of the 5000 tickets allocated.
What makes it harder is some might buy tickets and not go just as it will give them preference if we make the final.

I agree I don't see why we haven't bid 50 million and 1p. Even at 55 million, if we are selling Coutinho fro 140-150 million we could afford both Lemar (with Origi part of deal) and Sanchez. Those two and Van Dijk would be a great window.
Last year of his deal, we are in champions league too, and he suits our style of play. When you think of Sturridges injury record we could need the extra player.
Midfield with the choice of Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Henderson, Lemar, Grujic with a choice of midfield / attack / wings we have Salah, Mane, Sanche, Sturridge, Firmino, Solanke. That squad could challenge on all fronts this season and cover injuries suspensions and loss of form.
We would still have the likes of Grujic, Woodburn, Wilson and Kent as cover and league cup.

I just think the 300k pw if true would be dangerous ground, as once you pay that to one player you'll have others wanting big money and potential signings holding out for it. Not saying that doesn't happen anyway but it would potentially open floodgates.

Tell me how is he over rated? He has won 24 titles. he's been the leader of almost all teams. Won serie a with 3 clubs. Best penalty taker there is. And he's bigger then ricky and more technical gifted then all players in LFC. When stevie leaves we lack leaders and we lack a goalacorer. I would welcome it but its not a realistic option do.

they really didn't have much to do. Moreno keeps on playing well both forward and backtracking. Gomez is as usual strong defensively but was also good going forward got an assist. Matip Lovren did ok as i said earlier not much to do for em.
