Quick question Ed001 if your around.

Is TAA's future seen as CM rather than RB? Also if he is seen as a CM, is he more of a defensive midfielder or attacking?

Personally I would love him to be our right back for the future as there are not many good ones around and we haven't had a decent right back in years. But if he's too good for right back I guess we can't complain. Still can't help thinking that he might be more valuable as a right back given our full back situation and the fact we got quite a few CMs.

{Ed001's Note - I have answered this before, no one is sure where he will end up, but for now he is seen as a right back.}

ed 01
I've seen a few times that you and a few other posters don't consider last season a success would just like to know why? because in my eyes going from 7th to almost winning the title, playing good football (granted with defensive frailties) is definitely a success. i know we fell down at the last hurdle and should of won it but you can't say its not a success for that.

Brightonred

{Ed001's Note - of course I can say winning nothing is not success. That is failure. Sorry but an improvement is all it was, not a success.}

Maybe I'm still reeling from the game but I just don't see a way back for Karius. I've been supporting him all season and now I just feel stupid. The 1st goal was a mistake that anyone could make but the third goal was a unbelievable mistake for a professional goalkeeper to make. The thing is I really like Karius and his style of goalkeeping, with him being a sweeper and quick off his line. However, this is the final straw for me, if i was Klopp I wouldn't trust him again't.

Maybe I'll sleep on it and feel different but right now I feel like we should do everything to sign a quality goalkeeper. For me they don't even need to be top class, just someone who would not give goals away like Karius did today.

Preso makes a great point. If we are going to play with these attacking wing backs that expose our defence, we should at least get some benefit from it.
Robertson to date (apart from against Porto) has shown he can't cross and Moreno has been hit and miss. If either can show that they can consistently put in a decent cross from now to the end of the season, than there is no need for another left back.

Or we can change the system and have less attacking full backs and therefore be less exposed.

Ed do you think coutino is the type of person to publicly say he wants to go. Obviously don't know him personally but i get the feeling that he really doesn't want to go down the route. Whereas Suarez would feel no way about it. Do you reckon he will?

{Ed002's Note - I would doubt that he will come out in public and say anything, but we know he wants to move to Barcelona. The club are not willing to sell him.}

Jesus mate, you having a go at them for being young and having access to hair gel? Not too sure about the got references either but I'll let you off.

What matters is how there performing on he pitch and I've been pretty impressed with both of them. Especially lallana who I thought wouldn't be creative enough but has actually played really well.
