Heard from a journalist that reports for Bradford City that they're interested in Brannagan? Surely he's better than league one? Any truth eds?

Bradfordred

{Ed001's Note - lots of clubs are interested in him, but it doesn't mean he will be going there.}

Quick question for the eds,
With clyne reportedly wanting to leave would that mean we're in the market for a right back aswell? I remember a while ago you mentioning we were interested in Aina from Chelsea, anything still in that?

Bradfordred

{Ed002's Note - No longer an option.}

Cedric soares from saints. A well trodden path, standard summer transfer!

Cheers.

2.) 17 Jul 2016 00:40:11
Hopefully replace from within.

3.) 17 Jul 2016 03:43:33
From within what? The magic chest of world class right backs we have?
Flanno needs to show a LOT more before he can be considered more than backup and while I like Randall a lot he is far from 1st team material just yet. Just don't tell me this is what the Mercado rumours were about.
Soares would actually make sense. Or a couple of other random names of good young RBs around Europe include Mitchell Weiser and João Cancelo. Although my choice would still be Seamus Coleman. ;)

4.) 17 Jul 2016 09:39:22
Seamus Coleman's game has spontaneously deteriorated over the last couple of years not sure whether it's the injuries but he has really been struggling! Ironically I actually think Cedric would be the ideal signing think he is one of the best up and coming full backs in the league and he can actually defend and head the ball which is a rarity these days.

5.) 17 Jul 2016 13:23:22
Sure Shane, another Southampton player. Brilliant!

6.) 17 Jul 2016 21:04:11
We need to find the next Cedric and stop paying over the odds for other team players once they've proved themselves.

7.) 18 Jul 2016 12:58:30
I agree about we need to get to these players before they're big names and finished articles, but then people say we can't use the likes of Flanagan and Randall. As a general group of fans we do all seem to want it both ways, big names, but not for big money, shrewd use of little known players but not from within our own club. Flanagan was good enough out of position to do a solid job so I'd have no issues with him playing and Clyne is still there. That gives Randall a season or 2 for continued development - I don't see the rush to buy players as well.

Hi eds,
Quick question, I'm currently a final year accounting student and was just wondering about the process of getting into the business side of the game? Will the club simply advertise or is there certain pathways you can take?

Bradfordred

{Ed002's Note - Clubs would advertise.}

Does anyone think that sturridges injury seems a bit dodgy, klopp has seemed to manage him well and keep him fit and then as soon as he goes away he gets injured again? Does he train differently with England? The guy frustrates me so much.

Why worry, he's not missing any LFC games at the moment.

Depends what the injury is really, I don't think its a major one, just a knock.

4.) 26 May 2016 17:33:10
Yeh but if it is true he'l be out til Christmas at least.

5.) 26 May 2016 17:56:06
I guess him training at liverpool is 60/ 70%. and klopp is fine because it keeps him fit. You can tell he isn't 100% fit as every other player has an extra 10 % under klopp and apart from keeping fit ie muscle injurys he isn't as quick or sharp than under brodgers

I think at england if he is seen to be doing any less than 100% it will look like he isn't assed rather than protecting himself and he has to try and prove himself above vardy and kane wheras at the pool he is pretty much a gurateed starter.

Dont forget klopp made him train for like 20 straight days before selecting him and i rekon studge has gone sound ill do that but it won't be at 100 %

Just my tuppence.
