Heard a rumour and only passing it on, make of it what you will.

Sparkywonderdog has been approached by LFC board of directors at Klopps say so. He has gone all out for him to be chief scout. He was aware of the impending approach and has been giving an unlimited budget to identify players to come in ready for the new season. He is under the guidance of both Ed001 and Ed002, with their extensive footballing knowledge.
So far SWD has identified VVD as a potential replacement for Sahko and approached Southampton. They have agreed a deal of a straight swap as we have funded their last three premier league campaign single handedly. Also he is looked at a left the left back position and feels Guerreiro would be a good fit. Right back to be free in TAA.
In the midfield area SWD is happy overall but feels that a further winger/ attacking young player in Pulisic should be brought in. Having spoken with BVB directors he also put the feelers out on Aubameyang who made it clear the only team he would leave for was LFC. He managed to get a BOGOF on this deal and having used a bit of magic, entertainment and some old spice got Aubameyang as the freebie on an initial £12.5million for Pulisic.
Ed025 though has been present while SWD has his morning and even constitutional. while Ed001 and Ed002 engage with their real obsession of lawn bowls down near the boating lake, Ed025 has been having a word in his shell like. He has blagged SWDs head and now all the above deals have been scuppered and we are buying Gareth Barry who Ed025 has told SWD he is in the prime of his career. Also James McCarthy for his loyal stance on honouring the fighting men from the two world wars. Ross Barkley was also sniffing about stating deep down to being a die hard Red and would even bring with him a signed up Neville Southall top to clinch the deal.
Just rumours I heard from my grannies best friends parotts second cousin in law's cleaner.

Eds do you see Liverpool making an approach to Notts forest for 18 year old forward, Brereton?

Cheers Baz.

Baz

{Ed002's Note - Yes Baz.}

Matip is eligible for selection. News from the club that FIFA have dropped charges.

Baz

Baz

1.) 21 Jan 2017 14:29:59
And he should have played as the result shows. Klopp holds the responsibility for that decision. And for picking 3 central midfielders at home against the worse team in the league.

I would love an explanation.

{Ed025's Note - im sure he will call at your house shortly mate..

2.) 21 Jan 2017 18:28:13
You can't plan all week thinking he might not be allowed to play then just throw him in mate. As for the 3 in the middle I do agree lallana should play there every week he shouldn't be the one moved him hendo and gini for me first choice in there. Bad result but we move on an hopefully learn from the mistakes nothing a win midweek an trip to wembley won't cure.

08 Jan 2016 22:41:20
Stated Pato has agreed to sign for €15 plus bonuses.

Baz

1.) 09 Jan 2016 00:04:10
Yeah seen that my self but thought he was a done deal for some other team guess if anyone will know am sure the edd will or will see it on sky sports the morrow hears hoping. We need him.

2.) 08 Jan 2016 23:56:02
I' m not saying i don't believe you, but surely not!

3.) 09 Jan 2016 00:45:13
I think he turned down another premier league team to join LFC.

4.) 09 Jan 2016 01:58:56
Can't see this happening, last thing we need is to be taking more gambles like this.

5.) 09 Jan 2016 02:15:07
If this is true the people running our club are the least intelligent of any professional team. There is a good reason he is in Brazil and it should be telling that they desperately want rid of him. He is lazy, injury prone, and has attitude problems. Did I forget to mention that he is also not very good.

6.) 09 Jan 2016 02:55:29
15euro. still a bit steep if ya ask me.

7.) 09 Jan 2016 03:39:20
Is that personal knowledge or just eds views regurgitated?

8.) 09 Jan 2016 04:30:59
So Klopp wants to setup a Brazilian WC team in LFC? We do really need a CB and FW but options are very limited in Jan.

9.) 09 Jan 2016 06:31:20
Its no gamble. Pato is among tops scorer of Brazilian league with 11 goals this season. He is on form.

{Ed001's Note - it is a gamble, he is on such good form they don't want to keep him at the club. It is not about money, they don't want him because his attitude stinks and he has injury issues.}

10.) 09 Jan 2016 07:01:06
Reports coming out of Brazil is its 15 million brazilian real which is roughly around 4-5 million he hasn't turned down anything from another premier league club he turned down a ridiculously large pay packet from a Chinese side, people saying he is injury prone he hasn't been injured for three years! And 2015 was probably his best goal scoring season.

{Ed001's Note - sorry but he has shown consistently that playing a competitive game in a decent league is beyond his body's ability to cope. Just because he is doing ok while semi-retired and not expected to work hard does not mean he is suddenly fine.}

11.) 09 Jan 2016 07:54:31
Could turn out to be a master stroke. who knows. If he brings back ballo then I would be very annoyed. I don't think either deal will happen.

12.) 09 Jan 2016 08:21:18
How can people say he's not very good? i have the full sky package and i don't recall any brazilian football being on. have faith in klopp and stop being so negative on current and future players.

{Ed001's Note - have you never heard of the internet? Some of us watch other countries football by other means than just Sly tv anyway.}

13.) 09 Jan 2016 08:47:55
Eds but there isn't any truth in us after him anyhow is there?

{Ed001's Note - not unless something has changed, as we turned him down, as did a number of other teams, once already.}

14.) 09 Jan 2016 09:42:03
Can you see anything changing mate? He doesn't seem a Klopp player and like you said he has injury issues. Does ed002 no if anything has changed?

{Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware, he is still be whored around Europe with little to no interest, more to do with his partyboy lifestyle than his injuries to be honest.}

15.) 09 Jan 2016 09:44:17
Maybe because there is a lack of decent players in the Jan market and due to our injuries and lack of goals the club are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't!

16.) 09 Jan 2016 10:09:07
I think it would be fair to say Ed, he wouldn't exactly be up for the physical nature of playing Premier League football either.

{Ed002's Note - I would think far from able to perform at the premier league level. Clubs will have noted his wages are very high, he has some ownership issues that would need to be resolved before a return to Europe, and (importantly) he has a total of six agents and representatives that would need to be paid as part of any transfer. I cannot see any English side taking him on, the answer for him is back in Brazil until the summer, with Chinese second division side Tianjin Songjiang (who have made an offer) or potentially somewhere in Italy (but I doubt with a leading club).}

17.) 09 Jan 2016 11:02:00
I think it's his agent trying to push a move for his player, anyway surely what money is available this window will be spent on the defensive situation.

{Ed001's Note - it is exactly that. His agent has been claiming interest from anyone and everyone, but there is very little truth.}

18.) 09 Jan 2016 11:42:18
In this moment we need to be looking for more loan plus option to buy.
We have so many injuries we don't necessarily need more permanent deals.

Perhaps Pato is being offered around to clubs who need bodies (like us) and we have said we'd only be interested in a loan to buy. Otherwise I can't see us being interested.

19.) 09 Jan 2016 12:09:05
Surely the deal won't be in euros between two countries that don't use euros?

20.) 09 Jan 2016 14:44:36
The report was on an Italian website I think Fencey that's where the € came in.

21.) 09 Jan 2016 16:43:32
I don't believe for one minute that we would look at a player that fell short in Europe. Before anyone says, when he went back to Brazil, no one in Europe tried to sign him. He is average at best and with a bad attitude.

Lyon have bid £21.5 million for Pulisic. At that price and with Klopp's relationship with him I think he'd be a good signing.

Baz

1.) 03 Jul 2023 13:44:17
to do what?

2.) 03 Jul 2023 13:44:36
Please god no, I never want to see us sign a player with a dodgy injury record for as long as I live.

3.) 03 Jul 2023 13:55:24
He'd be a good replacement on the treatment table for Keita and Ox.

4.) 03 Jul 2023 13:57:11
I definitely see sixth choice forward as a place that needs investment.

Except no.

{Ed002's Note - And Klopp has no relationship within.}

5.) 03 Jul 2023 14:10:16
I think he’s class personally and has the potential to be one of the best players in the league, unfortunately he can’t stay fit and will likely never get close to his potential unfortunately hence why he’s only going for seemingly such a low fee.

6.) 03 Jul 2023 14:44:13
Baz - Are you just waffling and saying anything that comes to your mind? Why would Pulisic be a good signing for us?

7.) 03 Jul 2023 15:05:50
Can't see any story within the last 12m regarding Pulisic and us? Can you share where you have gleaned this info (obviously not the specific source, but is it Twitter, tea lady, mate etc)?

Does sound like a proper old school rumour, but seems a little odd!

{Ed002's Note - There is no suggestion Liverpool are interested.}

8.) 03 Jul 2023 15:08:45
I don't see the sense in signing Pulisic. Especially when there are other priorities in other areas.

9.) 03 Jul 2023 15:42:20
Thank you Ed002. Sounds like a recycled story from a year or two ago that's popped up again as clickbait given Liverpool are spending (and probably lazy journos trying to link the stories of Salah being wanted by the Saudi league)

10.) 03 Jul 2023 15:41:02
I don’t think he’s reliable enough.
I don’t think his production matches his prior potential, his career has stalled.

Finally he basically turned the club down in the past so he’s had his chance, plenty of other options out there.

11.) 03 Jul 2023 15:48:53
OP in the 5 years that Pulisic has been at Chelsea, what do you think he brings to us esp. for a guy they splashed 59m on?

12.) 03 Jul 2023 15:56:54
He wants to go to Milan.

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing whatsoever to do with Liverpool. They have no interest in the player.}

13.) 03 Jul 2023 16:03:48
Going off his recent interview from his bedroom the pic probably says why he always injured?.

14.) 03 Jul 2023 16:08:53
There’s a thousand reasons why we wouldn’t or shouldn’t sign Pulisic.

And there’s one reason why we should - he plays left forward.

This time next week Liverpool sign Pulisic to compliment the other 23 left forwards at the club.

15.) 03 Jul 2023 16:57:01
I say we buy him now and let him leave on a free transfer in 3 years after playing 15 games in total.

16.) 03 Jul 2023 19:00:56
Ed002, I know Liverpool have no interest. the response was to people who were asking if we were going in for him. It's being widely reported in the US that he wants Milan. I guess I could have been more specific in my response.

{Ed002's Note - Try the Chelsea page.}

17.) 04 Jul 2023 08:42:21
I'd prefer it that they throw Christian to the Lyons.

25 Jul 2021 23:41:50
Is it true that Ed002 has decided to ditch Chelsea, has now stated Liverpool are his team, always have been and you'll catch him in the Kop next year?

Baz.

Baz

{Ed002's Note - I switch most years.}

1.) 26 Jul 2021 09:11:15
Do you switch energy suppliers and insurance companies most years as well Ed?

{Ed002's Note - Only when I move house.}

30 May 2021 18:43:41
Let's play devil's advocate. and who would have Sterling back?

Baz

{Ed0666's Note - that is a great question Baz. He is a bit good and under klopp and Ljinders tutelage he could be a real weapon again! Would have to be as a mane replacement: I’m for it but I’m sure countless others on here won’t be and they would have good reason to think so.

1.) 30 May 2021 19:19:44
But would he want to come back IF the chance arouse?

{Ed001's Note - I doubt it would arouse him mate, just you that would be aroused by it. Oh and Ed666, but he is aroused by the bin men taking the bin out or the sounds of cats yowling. Christ even Jordan gets him going.}

2.) 30 May 2021 19:43:45
No. I hope he rots on City's bench and misses the deciding penalty in the Euro 2020 final. He has a special place in my cold black 'heart' right next to Suarez, Coutinho and my blood sucking ex-girlfriend.

3.) 30 May 2021 19:49:13
No. One dimensional, only relies on pace, poor finisher too, if we’re talking big money for an England winger it should be Sancho, Sterling will be finished by the time he’s 28/ 9 as he’s played for such a long time, like Rooney and Owen were. Notwithstanding the way the rat b*stard left.

4.) 30 May 2021 19:52:49
Ed mentioned that Sterling could be a weapon again.
He's already a weapon, no 2 ways about that.

5.) 30 May 2021 19:54:13
Yikes, MKS. Tell us how you really feel.

6.) 30 May 2021 19:35:35
Nah Ed0666, I think I’ll pass on Sterling, thank you very much. There are other prospects out there I would look at and ones like Sarr from Watford that Klopp can build and mould into a real weapon rather than a Sterling who may have already reached his ceiling at this point. Just my opinion.

{Ed0666's Note - I can see you’re point mate

7.) 30 May 2021 19:55:44
Sterling as a Mane replacement, never. Sterling has been as bad as Mane this year and I know who I support to get us back on track next year. Mane was in the top 2 of our best players when we won number 19. Ed 066 have a word with yourself.

{Ed0666's Note - I knew I’d get flak 😀

8.) 30 May 2021 20:11:40
I’d take him but I wouldn’t pay as much for him as Sancho. He’s probably worth, to us, no more than city paid for him.

9.) 30 May 2021 20:23:53
I can't Oli. The Eds wouldn't post it 😂.

{Ed014's Note - well write it anyway and we’ll at least have a laugh! 😉🤣

10.) 30 May 2021 20:52:47
I'm not allowed to get aroused anymore since I got married.

11.) 30 May 2021 21:08:36
Never. All he did yesterday was moan to the ref (who I thought was terrific overall - amazing how the play acting stops when refs don't reward it) . He should be lighting up a game like yesterday. Spends most of the time trying to draw a "foul". Hoping he's dropped by England as he's not as good as others.

12.) 30 May 2021 21:20:08
Terrible finisher we have enough of them already. I’d prefer Mahrez though he’s not coming either.

13.) 30 May 2021 21:35:38
Nice one ed, you can’t be right all the time 😊.
Baz I know the feeling mate🤣.

14.) 31 May 2021 02:58:35
Players come and go, each for varying reasons. But the way you depart matters.

As such, for me, players like sterling, Suarez, Coutinho would never be welcomed back.

Unlike Fowler, who no fan wanted him gone, just as himself, and when he’s back, everyone was chuffed.

15.) 31 May 2021 05:15:54
Sterling for Mané is a funny idea. Complete non starter. The guy can't run except in a straight line, is a perpetual whinger (pun intended) and has definitely reached his development ceiling. How he's given the captain's armband from time to time is beyond me.

24 Feb 2021 23:35:51
If klopp was to leave (not that I ever want this), and with it being wrote in the press that Rafa would like the Liverpool managers post, just seeing who would take him back?

Baz.

Baz

1.) 25 Feb 2021 01:58:46
No way. Dismal defensive football and destroyed Fernando Torres by playing him when unfit.

I don’t see why everyone raves about Nagelsman either to be honest.

I’d like Lopetegui.

{Ed077's Note - People rave about Nagelsmann because he is really good and has modem practices ,modern methods in his repertoire. Don't judge him or anyone on the back of a game or two whether it was a good or bad performance. Also dont forget Nagelsmann is already challenging for top honours and competing in big European games whilst still being younger than Milner for example. He has tons of time to still improve and learn.

2.) 25 Feb 2021 02:15:26
Its always best for most of things to start afresh.

3.) 25 Feb 2021 02:49:20
I'd love Bielsa

'returning legends' so rarely so anything but destroy their legacy.

4.) 25 Feb 2021 04:12:31
Dont want klopp to go but i understand if he does. Its a roller-coaster managing liverpool. He has got the best out of these players and now it seems they aren't up for it anymore.
Id have rafa back. Because he understands this club. There are not many men out their that can handle the liverpool job. He can and but id still pick mourinho. I just want some fire.

{Ed077's Note - Now you are just trolling, dont try to be a d!ckhead.}

5.) 25 Feb 2021 04:57:39
Every top club in epl needs to try mourinho once its written in the god books Ed.

6.) 25 Feb 2021 04:57:39
Every top club in epl needs to try mourinho once its written in the god books Ed.

{Ed077's Note - I wouldnt be against Jose ruining whatever progress you have made under Klopp. But be careful what you put out in the universe, it might come back to bite you on your backside.}

7.) 25 Feb 2021 07:27:56
Akshit, that’s the dumbest thing I have ever heard! Why would you want mourinho? The guy plays boring football and has been a flop at every clubs since leaving Real Madrid. chelsea (sacked), man Utd (sacked), Spurs (soon to be sacked)

{Ed077's Note - Mourinho did win the league with Chelsea after leaving Real Madrid as well; people seem to have forgotten about that.

And the cost of sacking Jose is always huge, he is smart in getting deals that favour hi even when he explodes at the clubs.

8.) 25 Feb 2021 07:41:53
Mourinho? Seriously? 🤦‍♂️.

{Ed077's Note - he is just a wind-up merchant, is akshit. Only looking to make outrageous comments so that people bite.}

9.) 25 Feb 2021 08:05:07
Ok was having some fun. Tough times as a fan. But latest news about Ali's dad has just hit me hard. I won't joke anymore. Its really heartbreaking. The personal toll this season has had.

10.) 25 Feb 2021 09:13:23
Nagelsman all day long, seems a good fit to me, he will be near 40 when we get him though, Klopps going nowhere, Prems coming home next year and no.7 is at the end of this.

23 Jul 2020 11:48:48
Well done to the team, squad, manager, coaches and all the staff involved in working for LFC.

Pity the F$$King idiots fans who couldn't stay away from Anfield and those arrested next to the ground. Idiots, clowns, toss pots. words don't describe. It just takes the gloss of winning our first premier league because of stupidity.

Baz

1.) 23 Jul 2020 12:09:36
Baz, no point being pissed about such things, man. There will always be those who have to ruin things for everyone. Some of these even thrive on doing so as it gives them some type of fix that I still cannot understand.

2.) 23 Jul 2020 12:51:25
Banned for life would be my idea of a decent punishment.

3.) 23 Jul 2020 12:54:29
Baz mate this was always going to happen no matter who the team was. Fan's were always going to turn up at Anfield the home of the newly crowned EPL Champions.

4.) 23 Jul 2020 15:59:57
How does something you've absolutely no control over "take the gloss off winning the title"? Ridiculous statement to come out with.

5.) 23 Jul 2020 23:33:57
I agree they shouldn’t have been there but it doesn’t take any gloss off winning the title. Not one tiny bit.

Well said Ed002. Lavia is what klopp wants clearly, and at 19 has potential for him to progress. Obviously at 19, barring a few exceptions to the rule, must players at that age are raw and still learning their trade.
At this time we have no DM, or at least with no experience. Bajetic is also young, has the makings of a great player but is injured and also needs competition.

Linders has clearly shown that as a manager in the Dutch league he failed. Now, as an assistant, shown that he hasn't learnt from one of the best in the business.
To make us work again, we need a change. Now that change needs to be in the coaching of the team. Klopp has mentioned the team are not buying into the tactics, and also stated linders is having a great say in this. Time to move linders on, see the rest of the season to return to heavy metal football!
