Heard a rumour that we are going in for Daniel Didavi at the end of the season
Have any of the eds heard this as well?

Didavi has been of interest to Bayer Leverkusen, Spurs and Stuttgart but Spurs walked away based on the many injury problems he has suffered throughout his career.}

saw your comment about Gerrard and youth players not making it, if he did not like them and just wondered if this was any youth player in particular or just in general, and also if this stopped when Rafa took over which is maybe why Gerrard and him didn't always see eye to eye.

{Ed001's Note - I should have phrased that better, it wasn't always personal dislike, sometimes it would be because he decided he didn't rate them, for whatever reason. Gerrard and Rafa didn't always see eye to eye because Rafa would look to make Gerrard improve and point out the flaws in his game, rather than praise him. Rafa also wanted him to work harder defensively and would have preferred him to continue playing on the right, which Gerrard refused to do.}

Anyway, the issue was not with Gerrard or those he did not rate, the issue was with the club allowing Gerrard too much power. The important thing is that the club do not allow a player that much power again, as it always leads to problems. That is the lesson to be learnt, not individuals who have suffered or gained.}

Do you think klopp is protecting sturridge form himself and easing him back in gently or is this klopp gradually easing us away from sturridge as our out and out number one striker?

{Ed001's Note - that really depends on Studger as to which it is. The former is what Klopp wants, but Studger has to fight for it or it will become the latter.}

surely it has become clear by now that jurgen klopp is in charge, he picks the team, he picks the formations, sturridge needs to get back on the pitch and let his skills do the talking, I also hope that origi gets back to his best soon as well, at the moment his sharpness and movement is sadly lacking, firmino played well yesterday but I would like to see him shoot more, he can dribble past players effortlessly, when the chance to shoot arises he is passing up the chance, he needs to be more ruthless in that department.

PLease ed 001 Was still a bit young back then but can you tell me the overall reaction when we signed Michael Thomas and your opinion on him as a player while with us, and if you have time on mark walters as well as I loved walters as a player back then

{Ed001's Note - I can only vaguely remember it as mixed, due to him scoring that goal against us in the last seconds. He was a good player, never stopped running, but lacked real quality on the ball. Great attitude and nice guy, but it was difficult to look past him taking the title on the final day!

Mark Walters? Great skill but no idea how or when to use it, so would often just offer nothing to the game. When he did manage to turn it on, he was unplayable, but it only happened once every 5 or 6 years that he did.}
