With Rodgers latest disastrous press conference today do you believe this will speed up the swing of the axe ed001 if you are around? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Most of the reliable journalists ie Tony Barrett and James Pearce are stating the balotelli fee has been agreed. Is this true eds?

Looks like someone has spoken to Rodgers. He has said in the press conference that he won't talk about transfers until they are done. Sounds like lessons have been learnt from last summer.

I have read this morning on the Liverpool Echo website that Liverpool want behavioural clause in Marios contract. This could hold up or scupper the deal if he doesn't agree to it. I hope he does!

Twitter after a reporter from the mirror claimed the deal is off. It looks like we may get Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and, hopefully, VVD. We shouldn't judge anything until the window shuts.

DaRedMan, the rumours are that we are in Portugal now to broker a deal this window. The source isn't great so doubt it myself but would be a good signing if we are interested and can pull it off.

I would rather he got any mistakes out of the way in pre season when it doesn't matter. As long as he plays well when it counts, that's all that matters. He hasn't really been tested in the three games so far.
