Square tomato I really hope you see this. Please ask Joe where I can buy that jacket he wore to the London NBA. I need to have it.

Should Allison have done better for any of the goals? Got his fingertips to the the third.

I thought he could’ve saved the first and the third.
The first was very similar to De Gea against Spurs. Alisson went with his hands and couldn’t get down but De Gea goes with his feet and saves. Not a mistake but could’ve been saved.
The third one Meyer doesn’t quite catch it and I think he expected it to come at him quicker and just misjudged it. Again not so much a mistake but saveable.
He’s been unbelievable for us so far though I think he’s allowed to have a bit of an off day (if it was even that), it will help him and the whole defence to refocus on the job in hand.

{Ed025's Note - you could always swap with us if you want bobby.. :)

Simply put yes. Talking in regards to my youthful daysI'd have backed my self to save the 3rd and possible the other too. Nowadays no chance.

On the Zaha debate.

The guy has scored an astonishing 28 goals since 2013, and that’s in all competitions.

He’s lightening quick and very good at running at people, that’s as far as it goes. He sulks when he gets a bit of physical treatment and disappears from the game. He looks at the red incredulous literally every single he gets tackled.

He would also cost an absolute fortune and there would be far better value out there.

Are people honestly saying they’d be up for a bare minimum 50mil for someone who would be a rotation option and has never scored more than 9 in a season in his entire career in a club he’s undroppable?

He may have had a good game yesterday, but for me at least, he’s little more than a match of the day player. There’s a reason why none of the top teams will take the plunge on him again.

20 Jan 2019 10:02:22
He does play for a team with no striker to make space for him and he does stay out wide most of the time. I think you’re being a bit harsh on him.
I’d back Klopp to make him into a player, if nothing else he’d draw players to him giving Salah, Bobby or Mane more space to play in.

I read a lovely story midweek about Liverpool fan Bernard Sheridan who turns 104! next week receiving a letter from Klopp as well as tickets for todays game.

“I’ve been a proud Liverpool supporter  since I was a boy and have supported the club through thick and thin, so I’m absolutely thrilled to be off to the match on Saturday! ”

“Obviously, the icing on the cake will be when we beat Crystal Palace! ”

Relieved Liverpool won and jesus I hope Mr. Sheridan’s heart is okay (I have no doubt it will be given what he’s seen in his 95 years of support! ) YNWA.

What's the general assessment of Naby Keita?
I'm all for giving players time to settle or find form. I support all our players. Looking at how patience paid for Robertson, Fabinho and Firmino in recent times I hope Naby comes good, the hype was true.

Right now I'm not convinced it will end up well, but I hope.

I've been critical since he was signed and loaned back to RBL. But I don't see what he did wrong today. Pressed well, ran at people and caused problems, created a goal with a cutting pass into the box, kept possession well etc.

He was up against the most in form right back in the league and he was not exactly kept quiet.

19 Jan 2019 23:16:10
Not so sure MK. For me he’s had better games, we all ( lads that sit together at the match) felt he needed to be substituted, his first touch at times was poor and was pretty anonymous for most of the game.

Having said that, he will come good. The lad is top quality.

19 Jan 2019 23:54:54
Judge him at the end of the season.

20 Jan 2019 07:02:32
All in all he isn’t playing badly but he’s not doing what we all thought he was being brought here to do I. e Drive at defences, play through balls and interlink with the front 3 from a box to box midfield role. He’s tidy on the ball mostly, but his confidence to dribble foward seems to have gone. I don’t think him playing out on the left helps much to be honest. Hopefully he can get in the middle and score a belter sooner rather than later to up his confidence as I’m sure it is just a confidence thing. You don’t just lose the quality he showed at RBL. Klopp seems to be sticking with him so so will I.

Top Top win today, previous seasons that would either have been a loss or 3,3 draw.
What impressed me most was the way the team came out after half time, You could see that they were so committed and determined, they displayed what a winning team is all about. They proved to everyone that they are no bottlers and answered the question whether they are up to the challenge. You could imagine Pep watching that at half time thinking the Reds are bottling it, but out they came with a lot of pressure on them and came up with the goods. Disappointing that they let 3 goals in and Milner got sent off (who I thought was great) but coming through matches like that with 3 points is massive.

Get the injured players back fit and kick on, well done the lads.
