Question for everyone. We know we look defensively frail, we know we need a DM as a priority. It’s been said by the Ed’s we are also looking for a CM and a CB.
Is it just me that thinks we don’t need a typical CM and would be better served getting two DM’s? For the CM position we have Jones, Elliot, Alexis, Slob, Thiago whilst at DM we have only Bajectic?
I’d even go far as to say we look so open at the back we should probably play 2 DM’s in the starting 11.

Yeah I agree Westwood we definitely need 2 DMs as a priority.

I wouldn't disagree, Westwood.
I'd have two defensive midfielders because I'm more defensive minded and I don't think Mac and Szob are that way inclined. I think Szob could play in the front three even though I've only seen him play one game. Do we play with a front three any more? Nunez, Diaz, Gakpo and Jota still have a lot to prove.
We can look at the midfield and the defence but the forwards are not what we relied on for years.

I reckon the CM we will be getting will be a versatile one who can cover at DM if needed.
Someone who’s effectively replacing Milner and Hendo and their versatility.

I think we need to get rid of this stupid system above all else and make our game an easy 1 again . Feel so sorry for Trent and robbo
Tsimikas is just not even relevant in this system any more
Poor gakpo is playing in midfield

It’s just a rubbish show and we’ve only played 1 game . I think it is a system that if you get it right can be overwhelming for the opposite side but I think theirs so much that has to fall your way for it to work and it’s too easy to exploit .

1st signing would be a new coach and I’d pack ljinders off with a wish you well and get back to where it all began . 4-4-3 with a boss dm that will cover Trent and robbo on the over load.

DHfc, I have been saying this from even last season. The system is too much of a burden on certain players like Robbo and Konate in defensive transition whenever we lose the ball. Most importantly, we simply do not have the players to play it right now effectively but it seems Klopp is going to persist with it.

Now something I did notice when I watch the game for the first time last night was that in the final 20 when it seemed we were trying to secure the point and go from there, we played the typical 4-3-3 where the fullbacks got the protection they needed from Dlliott and Jones which allowed us to be a bit stable defensively and Chelsea had issues breaking us down. The only chances they had was due to us losing the ball too high up the pitch on the counter. Just my take.
