Ed mate how do you think the Premier league will respond to this. Will they make an example of them.

{Ed001's Note - of who? This is not really an issue for the Prem, it is more about the police surely?}

Ed, whenever there is crowd trouble in the stadium during a game, the club is always held to account. This should be no different.

{Ed001's Note - that is because they are there at the invite of the clubs in return for buying tickets. The club takes responsibility when it contracts with the fans to allow them into the ground. This was fans breaking into the ground, totally different thing.}

Some poor security guard/ steward is going to get rinsed over this. On another note surely it's breaking and entering and anybody on the pitch should be arrested and charged?

{Ed001's Note - yes and trespass.}

I'm sorry, but mufc must have known about the protest taking place prior to it happening and should have had the appropriate staffing in place to deal with any such issues that may arise from such a protest.

The club must have known how the fans felt in regards the ownership plus Liverpool where on town, so feelings were running high regardless.

As a support team steward myself for a premierleague team. I think it was disgusting to see the video's of the stewards trying to man a barrier on their own as dozens of fans charge past them. I just hope they're all safe and well.

Also we have to understand that on match days the police are there to assist us and not the other way round.

Danred4ever, I hope my comment didn't make you think I was in any way blaming the stewards. I most definitely wasn't.

MUST and the Red Knights should do this every game at Old Trafford from now on.

If Man U are unable to fulfill their home fixtures from now until the end of the season and end up forfeiting them all as a result, well, you can't make an omlette without breaking some eggs.
