With Leeds looking more and more likely to come up, do you think we might see Milner want to head back for their first prem season?

Hhhmm forgot about that possibility Southern Red. His versatility would be hard for us to replace. Maybe the draw of first team football at Leeds would be strong for him.

I would love to see him stay at least for another season. His influence and example he brings to his teammates is not something that we can replace, . Even though we from the outside can never see that impact really to fully appreciate it, but when you hear others speak about his role and leadership in the dressing room you can tell how much he's respected. His physical care is as professional as anyone I've seen and he still has the tools to play at the standard we require when needed. If he wanted a Leeds return this year then no one could fault him that at all but id love to see him have the hunger to give a title defence a crack as he knows he's still valuable to klopp and his teammates.

I think in the future he'd make a great coach in a suitable role, his experience having played in many positions and for many different managers and styles, his professional attitude, calm demeanour and clear leadership traits would be perfect recipe to make a strong career after retirement.

I still believe Milly has something to offer despite his age.

Milner always plays well, always. And he's often excellent. Selfishly we want him to stay. I'd be happy with whatever he chooses, he's earned it. And I think he'd make a great coach. Maybe Leeds need him more than us. Wasn't his biggest fan at city, he has absolutely won me round with his work ethic, sense of humour. Seems such an excellent motivator and a great presence.

He signed a two year extension so I guess he is staying but you never know cos things change so fast in football these days.

With us seemingly having zero money to buy anyone at all, it seems unlikely we’d let Milner leave for free?
Unless Larouci is deemed good enough cover for robbo.

I love Milly and think he has contributed as much to our success as anyone. I'm sure that he would LOVE to end his career with Leeds.

I'm sure that after his career is over he will say that he is a Leeds supporter, but I'd love to know what he has to say behind the scenes about which club came in second for him.

For me he is the quentisetial Liverpool player. I will always be a Milner fan.

I hope he stays. He makes a big difference in ways that are not so easily seen.

Does anyone know if Leeds or Bielsa are actually interested in Milner. I know any club would be mad to turn their nose up at a player of his experience and calibre but both parties would need to want the deal to happen for it to actually work.

I hope he stays as he’s a huge influence in the squad and you can always rely upon him to put in a 7/ 10 performance wherever you play him.

I hope he stays too, gives everything no matter the role he's asked to play. Massive influence and supports the others too, great role model for the younger ones too - great vice captain and would be hard to replace.
