what is the best truth for players salaries and fees?

it was more of a general question as people throw around all sorts of numbers relating to wages etc.

Thanks Ed 047 That recommendation was a real eye opener regarding wages. Really interesting how the pecking order runs although a lot must be due to when contract renewals take place. Cheers.

FIFA's TMS should be 100% accurate in terms of transfer fees etc. But I don't think the general public has access to it.
