So a few days before the season starts again chaps, it's been a while coming and I'm sure we are all pleased they have found a way.
I hope we can get the points needed in the bag quickly as a second wave of the Virus has to be a strong possibility considering all off the gatherings, protests and the fact that most people seem to be acting normal as if the virus never existed.
What happens if we get the the points and then the season stops again because of a second wave, would we be awarded the title on ppg?

My understanding is that the season would have been considered null and void if the full 39 games had not been completed. I don't see why that would be changed by the teams in a vote if the season was stopped again. But then I don't see why the season would be stopped anyway, despite a second wave. Nobody can demonstrably show the complete lack of an audience in the stands is connected to a second wave. I'm sure all the players have been given strict instructions on social distancing and are being watched closely and taken care of. And it just suits everyone so much more to have to deal with a completed season (title winner, relegations up and down and UEFA places for their Cups) than to deal with the mess that would ensue. Of course, human lives matter far more, but these are businesses first, whose thinking is skewed differently than the average Joe on the street.
{Ed002's Note - There was never an option to make the season null and void - I have explained that repeatedly. And there are not 39 games in a season.}

I'm no expert but surely if the club were mathematically champions and a 2nd wave did hit it wouldn't matter regarding the title?

ArAy I see what your saying mate. Nul and void wasn’t on the cards and there obviously seems a genuine Attempt to get the season completed. I was more just thinking about what happens if we get the 5 or 6 points needed and then the thru decide to stop the season again then what happens, I think I read about it going down the same route as the EFL with the PPG taken for league standings.
{Ed002's Note - Tedious - you are asking the same thing over and over.}

Onbviously if we get the points needed before the season ends we would be champions as it’s beyond mathmatecial doubt 🙄.

Ed, if there was a mix up due to C.V. and they did play 39 games and say the relegation picture changed due to that one game, could the season be declared null and void then and liverpool be declared non-champions even though they won it already and Jordan Henderson lifted the trophy with tears in his eyes. I mean the man cried. Surely they couldn't undo that due to an administrative error :)

Null and Void was a non-starter from the word go.

Does Jordan Henderson go down as a better lfc captain than Gerrard if he lifts the prem? Gerrard the better player but I've not seen anyone try as much as Hendo. Love him. Really love him. I doubted he had it in him to fill Gerrard shoes, but he proved me dead wrong.

Robbie, such comparisons are not that relevant cos there are too many mitigating factors to consider (The era both players played in, the teams they played in, the level of competition they played against, systems, managers etc. ), IMO.
I also don't think Hendo "filled SG's shoes" cos I am not sure Hendo was trying to be him even tho, he was his mentor. I just think Hendo succeeded in being a great capt. cos he did it his own way by being his own man and being true to himself as a person first. Doesn't look like he tried to emulate anyone but just play his game and lead in his own manner. Just my take.
