Chelsea been banned for the same situation and City walk away with a fine?

{Ed025's Note - its a swizz i tell ya, they should be banned from winning the prem for 20 years, pep should do 400 hours community work, city should start games 3-0 down and stirling should only be able to kick with his left leg...would that do max?..

You don't know if it was the exact same situation. Was it one player? Several? Was it Chelsea's second misdemeanor? I'm guessing it wasnt "the same situation"

Wasnt it because chelsea contested their fine and man city owned up to it straight away?

Totally unfair but there again Everton have had some type of restrictions on them winning a trophy since 95,you must be fuming eds25.

{Ed025's Note - now now ace, we have been in transition since 95...or is that recession?, that could well end this season mate.. :)

Whatever it is the punishment is so small as to be irrelevent. What is even the point of fining a club worth so much a pitiful 315,000 thousand? It's the same for clubs found guilty of racism and other things in European competition who get fines of mere thousands - what is the point? Is it mainly for UEFA/ FIFA to tacitly agree to the actions of clubs? Because that is basically what it is doing.

£315,000 was probably the fifa officials bar and hookers bill whilst they deliberated this one. Just covering their expenses 🤣.

Anyone else see the irony in fining multi-billionaires for spending too much money?
