Watching dani Alves last night he still has it, would be great back up for trent for a season or 2, also a great character on an off field .

36 and will be expensive contract wise. Plus even at 36 I'm not sure he'd interested in playing backup. I'd personally prefer a long term solution.

I know we once were looking at a new ground to replace Anfield to free up more space, but I'm pretty sure we could accommodate his baggage regardless of its size?!

I don't get the worry about "huge huge baggage". Surely there are homes on Merseyside with enough cupboards and storage?

On a side note. It's a no from me for Alves. We are not a retirement home.
