I can see Leicester having a very handy side this season.
There’ll be some decent sides challenging top 4 - Wolves, Everton, Leicester, Man Utd.
Feels good to write that.

Perez is a decent signing for Leicester. You have to wonder what is going on at Newcastle though, selling one of their best players while they've no manager.

Whoever takes on that job is doomed.

Then again, this transfer may have already been in the works before Rafa decided not to stay, and he was having a big player sold against the manager's will, compounding on his already frustrated state.

Kinda sad to see Rafa head to China. Still a very good manager in my opinion, perhaps it’s a chance for an excellent pay day as he maybe looks to the future and doesn’t see himself taking that many more jobs after this? There’s been some big jobs going recently and he doesn’t seem to be in the frame for them, surprising to me.

Lol@ man utd sponser!

Tottenham are going to be stronger this season, they have a fully fit harry kane and have added quality to their weakest area - midfield.

Ive said it before, we always expect the new season to be the same as the last. Liverpool and city running away with it. But you never know. Spurs, Chelsea, arsenal (maybe) and man utd (maybe) have the talent in their squads to challenge.

Saying that though, the gap between us and 3rd place was massive. But i think spurs will be the team that challenges us as well as city.

Cheers ed01, yeah it does feel kinda sad that rafa is off to china. Dunno why. I know players are being offered massive amounts of money to play there, the west ham forward whos name i can't spell wants to go there. Shows what he is playing football for ££££££££££. No chance of playing europa league footy, or the dream of playing in the European Cup. playing in a ridiculously poor league. It's like they dissappear into a black hole. He has something, he is too good for the Hammers so why go and join a team who are still learning to trap the ball? (figuratively speaking) im surprised that none of the big teams have looked at him. Wouldn't want him near our squad. He has trouble maker written all over him but he knows where the net is.

EpicPotato - Newcastle are going to be the next Manchester City if the sale goes through, so they will get a top manager and be a threat to every PL team in a few seasons.

Perez is not a 30 million player. They need to put that into rondon now!

It took city ages to get where they are. And all the top clubs have massive backing. We have Fenway, who spent as much as anyone last season, spent well over a £100.000.000 the season before. Im pleased for the toon army, they deserve some good luck.
I think Rafa was a saint at Newcastle, European Cup winning manager, managing in the championship. He brought them straight back up and kept them in the league with a championship squad. Not only kept them in the league but finished in a quite a respectable position.

He done his job well there. That keeper he bought was a great signing, and cheap.

And the deal isn't done yet with this multi billionaire. I hope it does, another team pulling man utd back, they could end up as mid table fodder. "the biggest club in the world" hahaha.
