Very little mention of Ben Woodburn, now why is this?

Because he has failed to cope with the physicality of senior football? Roaster Mk II.

Have a day off plain bread, he had half a season trying to get into a team pushing for promotion.

He is 19 for Christ sake!

I can see him going out on loan again to the championship, quite a few have shown interest.

Maybe Southern Red but in my opinion he won't make the step up with us. The move back into midfield was a complete nose dive, but even as a forward I don't think we have time to wait for him to adapt when there are better players coming through like Brewster, Duncan and Glatzel. It wouldn't surprise me to see Woodburn coming up to the Premier League as a key player with a Championship club in 5 or 6 years, a bit like Connor Coady did. Everyone is entitled to an opinion mate and if he becomes a regular for us you have permission to say you told me so! I can't see it happening personally. Sorry if you thought I was being harsh.

He's done very little to note in the last year.

Struggled at Sheffield. But must be hard for a young kid being one of the best technical players in the squad. Pushing for game time in a dressing room of mates who have played together for years. Especially hard if the guy you're trying to displace is a big character, tough effer.

Ive seen the lads class. He is still so young. It's too early to say but he could still make ot at liverpool.
