Klopp should never have said that;if he did, that is.
Statues should be reserved for the likes of Shankly, Paisley and Dalglish and not slightly above average players.

Maybe but I never saw Coutinho as good enough to warrant the comment nevermind a statue.

I’m not too bothered about Coutinho, players come and go and if anything towards the end of his tenure here we were playing better without him and he got the move he wanted and we invested and are playing better without him.

Coutinho was and always will be a luxury player. There was and never will be a fixed place for a player like him in KLopp's team.
Yeah he was great for us but our front 3 now are better in terms of output and our midfielders are way more hardworking and tenacious than Coutinho could ever be.
