I'm a Leicester fan today. Today is the day City lose. Bring them on!

I'm going for a draw.

If Leicester win, I'll be your biggest fan, Salah.

If Leicester get something does it change our team for Barcelona? In reality I do not think Klopp would ever think like that but I don't think I would be alone in suggesting if Leicester do us a favour tonight I would be quite happy to let Barcelona have a training match against just Mignolet.

If Leicester get something, you play the u12s against Barca.

{Ed025's Note - i think there is still mileage in the barca game benny, 3 down does appear on paper to be a massive lead but an early goal will change all that, imo the CL is still liverpools best chance of silverware mate..

Since when did Liverpool Football Club ever concede a football match before a ball has been kicked? Please stop with this pathetic nonsense about not even giving it a go against Barcelona. We should put out our strongest possible side.

Agreed WW. Miracles can happen, especially at Anfield.

If Leicester get anything then I suspect Klopp will put our a strong team but if we concede he will take off salah and Mane etc as soon as that happens and rest for weekend.

If we are going to concede a key CL match against a Spanish giant before kick off we may as well bring back Brendan Rodgers.

Hhanif005, thanks for the reminder of when Liverpool FC DID virtually concede a football match before a ball had been kicked. It was such a painful experience that I had erased it from my memory. I never want to see such a shameful capitulation by our great football club ever again. Klopp is not Rodgers so I really don’t think it will happen against Barcelona whatever happens at the Etihad Stadium tonight.

Na. Nonsense. If city draw with Leicester and we play our last remaining striker, mane, against Barcelona and he gets injured there would be absolute uproar.
The league becomes the biggest chance of silverware if city drop points. Beat wolves for the league or try and turn around 3-0 against Barca. With no Firmino or Salah. No brainier. Behave.

{Ed001's Note - so what? Who cares about uproar? We are Liverpool and play every game to win and it is showing how little you understand the club if you do not get that.}

And if mane or vvd get injured and we didn’t beat wolves, we’d be slaughtered.

If Leicester did pull off a shock result again City, I'd rest a few for the Barcelona game.
Playing percentages that would be our best chance of silverware.
Having watched Wolves this season we need to be at our best to get a win. That means a fit Salah, no other injuries, no fatigued players and (fingers crossed) Bobby returning.
Plus no Studge in the starting XI.

If your aunt had balls she’d be your uncle.

Benny and what if they play and DON'T get injured and WE WIN? Have you considered that as well or has your relentless negativity clouded your ability to think of all possible scenarios?

Benny, there's a risk that any player or another can get injured in any game throughout the season, regardless of which competition it is. We all know this. We lost 3 key men (Keita, Firmino and Salah) in the last week. That's how it goes. It's sport. But that should not ever come in the way of showing a team's respect and commitment to the sport. And what about the thousands who pay hard earned money to go to the stadiums, and then have to view "U18's" or second-string teams? What respect is that showing to the fan base?

I'm all for managing a team to get optimum results. But there are greater imperatives that have consequences for a team in the long term. Fighting for every game and every result is what Liverpool (and Klopp and this bunch of players) is all about. Some will argue that we didn't do that with the FA Cup, but I think that was a miscalculation and a decision made by team management based on the players we have and the schedule to be played. I'm sure it will be different next year, because the urgency to add to the trophies is getting greater every year.

Took the words out of my mouth Redwolf, exactly mate. We have to give it our 100% every single game, no matter what. We as Liverpool should never give up, that isn't in our nature.

Youngsters, that's half the problem, they throw in the towel too easily. We need more believers.

"And if mane or vvd get injured and we didn’t beat wolves, we’d be slaughtered. "

They're ifs and buts. What is certain is if Klopp fielded a second-string team he would also be slaughtered, which metaphorically speaking he would deserve we would have just got to the semi-final of the European cup and thrown it away, on purpose. Don't take things for granted, you never know when we'll be in the semi-final again.
