So how many points do you think we need City to drop? 3 enough or more?

As a minimum I think we need them to lose to either spurs or united and then maybe a cheeky draw elsewhere. Unfortunately I just see City winning everything!

Will pray that we just keep doing our bit and we get some favours from elsewhere.

We only need City to draw one game if we win all of ours. I think City will drop points somewhere, they play Palace, Burnley and United away and Spurs and Leicester at home, that’s a tricky run of fixtures. If they win all of them they deserve to be champions.

I think we have to win every game otherwise they have to drop points twice. The next 2 games are mad important for us as Southampton are playing better and Chelsea are fighting for top 4. Cardiff might be scrapping for their lives when we play them as well.

I don't see City going to Old Trafford under the lights, with Utd under pressure for points while City feeling the pressure of being in the title race themselvess. with a one of cup tie atmosphere and the place jumping, and winning. if they do fair play to them but i don't see it.

We need to make sure they need to win against Spurs and Utd to keep pressure on them. Anything less will be no good unfortunately.

Look at it like this! City would of been hoping spurs won today! But they didn’t now spurs are fighting even more for a top 4 finish so city will be against a different animal when they play spurs and like wise against utd! Not a hope do either spurs or Utd want to be playin Astro football on a Thursday winters nite in Russia so like it or Not they are playing for their lives! And u can say likewise when we play Chelsea! Plenty of twists to come yet! Just my point of view!

I think if we could have them drop points one more time that would be great. we still need to do our part tho. soooooooooooo, as it has been all season, let's take it one game at a time!

I think we’ll probably drop (at least) two points - ie a draw - which effectively means that City are going to need to drop four points, given their superior goal difference, for us to win the title.
It’s a tough ask now, but this team continue to confound my expectations.
We’re over six games better than 3rd spot, we should be walking this league ordinarily damnit.

I think they'll drop points. The ucl is their priority and that could make a difference. Spurs could take them. Utd will get at least a draw.

We just have to win all ours now. And they all look winnable.

If you said to me we’d drop two points the rest of the season, i would take that. May not be enough, but I don’t think not taking max points is a failure at all. Keep the pressure on is all we can do, city seem relaxed but now we have beaten spurs it will mount, if we beat Chelsea even More. They then have to beat united and spurs and it doesn’t seem so easy.

{Ed0333's Note - I honestly don’t think we’ll drop points. I’m not sure Southampton is the insurmountable mountain everybody thinks they are and on Chelsea’s showing today well rip Chelsea a new butt hole. If we need to beat wolves on the last day of the season to win the title we will. Famous last words hey!

Before the game, I wanted to post that THIS Spurs game was the game we really needed to win and thank goodness, we won. Don't know how we won BUT we won. Now, we go to Saints where again, we have to win cos City would have smashed Cardiff before then.

Here is the problem for City. They have a three game cliff-hanger vs Spurs in the PL and CL and judging by the intensity, quality, energy and desperation they played with today in search of finishing in the top 4, City will have it ALL to do against them after esp. after you add Utd, Palace and Burnley, ALL away from home to the mix. The ideal scenario is that City drops points twice cos that way we have a buffer should we drop any more points this season. here's to hoping this happens.

I just want them to lose every game now.

maybe cardiff will turn up resilient after the shambles of today.

This last minute win will be huge for the boys. There will be tough moments ahead for sure, but we seem to be developing a habit of winning ugly late in tough games through sheer will.

I think if City are going to lose points it is going to be somewhere innocuous like at home to Cardiff! So I'm all in on Cardiff U23s holding City out for 90+ mins!

Cardiff will tear city a new backside.
More importantly city play tottenham thrice in two weeks. They surely can't win all 3. Tottenham if the loose the epl clash are out of top 4, same for united. They should not be easy games for city.

I only fear the city game because it is coming right after we travel to portugal. Its imperative we finish the champions league tie at anfield so we can rest some players for the Portugal trip and unleash them on chelsea. Chelsea are a good team. We lost the title last time in the chelsea game, there cannot be any scope for deja vu's.

Have to win every game from here to have a chance at winning the league. Simple as that.
