I think Salah should start varying his game because he's become too predictable and defenders find it easier to defend against him. For a start, he should build some power in his legs for shooting.

Yeah your right, terrible player!

Salah has plenty of power in his shots, he just needs a little more composure in front of goal as he’s obviously letting his mini barren spell affect him. He is getting enough chances each game but just not burying them.

Salah should not be judged solely on his goals as he brings so much more to the team. Often in games this season he has had 2 or more players marking him making it harder for him to score but sets up so much space for Bobby and Mane.

I think he is trying to hard to score instead of playing freely myself he needs to relax take players on again go the by line and the goals will come we create chances as a team the goals will come again.

Lol, this has to be one of the funniest posts I’ve seen for a while. One of the best players in the league ( if not the world) l in the last 18 months) being told that he need more strength in his legs and needs to change his game. Seriously.

Power? He hits it as hard as anyone. I think he needs to focus on getting over his shots more. All his one on one finishes are a nice height for the keeper (between knee and waist height roughly) .

It means that if he puts them anywhere near the keeper it's a comfortable save. If he got over the ball more and fired in a few daisy cutters keepers would struggle to get down to his shots even when he drags them to close to the keeper.

Its always been an issue with his finishing but last season he consistently got them just inside the post so the height didn't really matter. He leans back outside the box as well, always looking for the top corner when he'd be better suited going for the less spectacular looking bottom corners.

He still scores plenty of goals because he's so good at making space for a shot. If he honed his finishing though he could genuinely score as many as Messi or Ronaldo, consistently. I'd be more concerned if he wasn't getting the chances though. He's a world class player overall and we're very lucky to have him.

Nah he just needs to relax, looks as if he has the world on his shoulders at the minute.

OP, I don't think you actually watch Salah play or have very little idea of how powerful Salah actually is physically. If you did, you would not post what you posted. IMO as Like A Vigil or MK have said, he just needs more composure in front of goal and he will be okay. I also think he takes an extra touch before getting his shot off which allows the GK or defender an extra second to close him down. IMO, that just comes from him being not confident enough in his touch so he takes another one to be sure, what a a striker should never do. As someone who played the position, it is based on instinct meaning, you don't even think in those moments. It just happens, just like it was for Salah last season. that is not the case now. He just needs to keep doing what he is doing and when that moment comes, Just LET IT RIP.

Also as someone said, it is super unfair and intellectually dishonest to judge Salah (or any of the front 3) just based on goals alone. That is a standard that is not worth even debating cos it comes from a place of complete ignorance of how we play and what Klopp demands from these forwards.

All you have to do is look at how Salah tracked back to the fullback position to help stop a certain goal vs Fulham on the counter. Or how much defensive work Bobby puts in or how much hard yards Mane does to protect Robbo and allow him to go rampaging forward. In spite of all of these, our boys have 50 goals in the PL amongst them. Mo, Keep doing what you're doing cos you are doing everything else right and you will start firing again, man.

As you say RedWolf, he's doing literally everything else right. If he finds his confidence again he'll be as good as he was last season easily. Easy to forget that he's only 26 as well and his composure in front of goal will improve with age. Then he will start opting for the right kind of finish in the right situation. 26 is relatively young and he spent most of his early years as an out and out wide player. It's scary how good he can potentially be considering how good he already is!

Think the lack of goals just getting to him slightly, when that next goal comes - and let's face it he's still getting and making chances ok - I think the floodgates will open and he'll score nearly every game.

It's a slight blip, all forwards get them, it happens and the pressure is on him now to score, but when he does and that pressure disappears - jeez, defences got to watch out.

Jeez, I hope Mo is reading all these coments, he can pick up some good pointers here to get himself back on track.

Spot on, MK. I myself, do forget that he is still young and has just had THE best season of any player not named Messi or CR7 in the past 4/ 5 years. He is still learning how to be a goalscorer from out wide, something many other wide players are not asked to do. I will NEVR quit on him or any of our front three cos they are brilliant footballers individually and collectively. I mean, were else can you find a front three where each player can play any any position in the front three and even drop deep in the no. 10 spot during games? If you have then let me know?

I think the OP use talking about Ed001’s mate - Salah.

He can’t possbily be talking about Mo Salah 😄.

{Ed001's Note - could well be, none of the Salah's here last night could kick a ball with any power. The lot of 'em could have been blown over by a big gust of wind!}
