Milner. What a player he became here. I wasnt sure why we sign him with him wanting to be a CM when he clearly wasnt one. Not only that but on the wages he is. But. We all know it, the rest is history and let's all wish him to lift them both trophies by the start of June!

I know it wasn’t “free” but if we are talking value then the 2.6 million paid for Sami Hyypia is difficult to beat even to those free signings mentioned above (and I think Millie has been a hell of a signing) .

He’s not impressed me apart from his first 8 or 9 games pre-injury.
You talk about how many games he’s played since Jan, we’ve let in double the number of goals in half the games 😄

I don’t hate him, I just think he’s a weak link and I don’t get the impression he’s really putting himself about.

Why are players given extra status because they won trophies. It takes a team to win silverware, not an individual. Apparantly, Messi isn't the greatest unless he wins the World Cup, but look at the calibre of players he has compared to Pele in 1970.
Whos the better player out of Matt Le Tissier and Djimi Traore? One has won the highest club honours, the other won zip.
I don't see why Gary Mac would rate above Milner because ‘he won trophies’.

Not a lot between Gary mac and milner for me. I will never forget that free kick, near post from 40 yards. It was an important goal too.

Run of the milner, I always thought pacheco would be a star. He seemed to have everything except height. He was at Liverpool when we were full of world class strikers, Owen fowler, torres.

I've seen both McAllister and Milner play, and it's Milner for me. The ultimate selfless team player, who'll do whatever is required of him week in and week out without raising an eyebrow. And I think Milner has had far more of an impact on this team than McAllister had on the team of that time.
