Does anyone know what’s happening with shaqiri? I saw it was reported a few days ago that he was possibly being punished for behavioural issues but he’s just pulled out of the Swiss squad through injury. Do any of the Ed’s know if he’s been carrying this injury for a while, preventing him from playing or has he had some behavioural issues?

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - It is not an injury. The Swiss explained what it is.}

Yes, they said it is inflammation of the groin which I thought counted as an injury. What I meant was, is this what has been keeping him out of the side? Or is this a fresh problem?

{Ed002's Note - Nappy rash is what they are saying.}

All I know mate is for Liverpool he isn't good enough due to him being so lazy. He has the potential but chooses not to use it.

Usually agree with you salah dude but I don't think that's the case. I think we are at the most vital part of the season and klopp is sticking to his trusted guard of milly, gini, hendo and now fabhino. I'm sure he w up ll get chances in games we have the massive advantage but we cannot afford laziness, switching off at this point.

Also, the way he celebrated for mane's 2nd at bayern tells me he is happy and well in with the dressing room.

It's a shames as I feel shaq is the key to getting salah firing again. They worked so well down that left side. Lallana' re emergence has also had a part to play. As ad's works harder in closing down and tackling, yet they both have the ability to play forward and create.

Langland, it's just my opinion mate, maybe I'm wrong? We can all be wrong at times but on this occasional I'm certain I'm right. Personally I just don't think he has what it takes to be good enough for this team due to how lazy on the pitch he can be. When it comes down to how lazy he is, it's not about opinion it's fact and that's something we can all see. I wish the lad the best and I hope he does well with us but I'm convinced he'll be a failure. We all want the best for all of our players so yes, I expect many thumbs down on this but at the same time we have to be realistic.

Robbie, of course. We can't agree on everything :) each to their own mate.

It depends where he is played Salah. He doesn't have the intensity to play a box to box role in Klopps 3-man midfield. Early on in the season when he played in the number 10 he did well for us though. But I think it's just a case of Klopp wanting to see out the season with the system that works best for the team (the 4-3-3) - unfortunately that leaves no room for Shaqiri at present.

If you guys look back at posts from a day or two you will see that Ed01 identified the problem with a Shaq as being that Klopp has lost belief in his ability/ willingness to work hard enough within the team framework.

Spot on, WW. Ed01 has already addressed this issue and it is clear for everyone who read it. If you want to know what it is? Simple. Just RTP.
