I enjoyed the post about the player we were most excited about.

Which player were you least excited about. And I mean senior players who were widely known.

Charlie Adams has to have a shout. Konchesky. Stefan hencoz can you believe but he turned out amazing.

Alot of those players from the houllier era. Camara, who did quite well. Eric myer. Wester eld who also did okay. And hypia, I was like "who is this guy? " but he turned out to be one of the 3 best cbs I've seen at the club and I'm 37.

Least exited? Hmm, Mignolet. We sold Reina and replaced him with Sunderland GK who didn't had good personal record at all.

Missed the most exited. Salah and Sahin. Those two had me flying all around for some reason. I was also exited about Ballotelli as I had a feeling he will shine, how wrong was I.

I was least excited when we signed Joe Cole. Great player with Chelsea and just the type of player we needed. We signed Joe when he was 29 and he should have been in his prime but it was obvious before he left Chelsea that his best days were well behind him. Injuries didn’t help him either. A shame because he came across as a nice lad.

Least excited? I'd have to say James Milner, and I'm so happy that I was proved wrong. I thought he was bit past it, and I'd lost faith in Brendan Rodgers by that point.

Least excited? Rickie Lambert - lovely guy and a Liverpool fan but it immediately told me all I didn’t want to know about Brodge’s plans for the future. a target man CF which represented s massive departure from the Suarez/ Sturridge/ Sterling fluid attacking play of the 13/ 14 season. Unfortunately the premonition was proven correct by the subsequent signing of Benteke.

Least excited - Poulsen
Most excited - Torres as I can't remember when the news broke about John Barnes signing.

Ballotelli for me. Someone mentioned Lamber, I was really hopeful for him, I really wanted him to do well.

Alonso was someone I had never heard of til he signed. By the end of his spell at anfield, I thought he was our best player, even with Gerrard and torres.

I can't believe he went because Rafa wanted Barry. Still love Rafa though, and I think that's when our spine of that era felt it was time for them to go too.

Another mention has to be Gini, I couldn't see where he would play for us at the time. Glad I was wrong on that 1 and he's someone I feel that just gets better and better when competition is added to the squad.

Who remembers Mkscouser aka ynwaadams essays about signing Lambert at the time. Where has 5 years gone?

I remember Kewell coming out and announcing he was joining us. can't recall if he supported us before the move but I really thought he could make a difference. How disappointing did that one turn out. Morientes was another sadly under achieving hope. Lastly was Torres and at least he delivered on the pitch. Shame about the exit but good timing on our part except for the replacements😩.
