Modric would add real quality to our midfield - top player. He is one of the main reasons they won the 4 in a row.

Varane and van Dijk would be the closest thing to a modern day Maldini and Baresi. Don’t get me excited otherwise i’ll start to believe it is happening!

Varane would obviously be cool but never happening. A more realistic option would be Asensio for me.

Going back a few years I thought Varane was going to be the stand out CB in world football. I have to say since then i have completely forgot about him. Injured a lot and now playing for the worst Madrid team in 20 years. Is he now player i thought he would be? Would be interesting to see him beside VVD i guess.

He's in the middle of a bad season. As are the whole team. Doesn't mean he is a bad player.

Varane has all the ability to be an excellent defender but he has been shocking this season. Whenever Ramos is suspended he is all over the shop positionally. I would compare him to Sanchez at spurs physically he has all the attributes speed strength good in the air but he is no Baresi his reading of the game this season has been a big let down. Could be partially do to zero protection from the midfield in front as Kroos has probably had his worse season ever, Casimero has been very poor compared to last season likewise with Modric. The brief times I’ve seen him play their young lad Valverde looks like he could become a good player. As for the rest there is quality but Madrid’s luck in the last few CL has really papered over the cracks for the last few years.

Great player though, agree that him and Van Dijk would be the stuff of Gods.

Would take Courtois as backup to Alisson. We upgrade our 2nd choice GK and Real finally make a serious push for DDG and screw Utd over.
