Morning Ed001.

Appreciate info coming out the club is not easy to obtain these days but why do you think Klopp is not playing Keita in the big games or at least bringing him on?

Yesterday, Lallana who probably won't be at the club next season came on. Unless Keita is not showing enough in training, I'm a bit baffled.

{Ed001's Note - it is felt that he leaves too much space in behind him and does not protect the full back enough. Lallana came on to play in an advanced role, it was not an either/or thing, that is not Keita's position.}

Same reason Shaqiri doesn't come on in midfield. The only way Keita or Shaqiri will play regularly is if Klopp plays with a 10 and two holding midst, but Klopp likes his 3 man midfield. I wouldn't be suprised to see Klopp bring in a couple of box to box midfielders in the summer.

So why did we buy him Red Rum? It’s a joke we splashed £60 mill and waited an year to land him! So we don’t need another creative midfielder in the summer either coz klopp doesn’t fancy any one of them! Isn’t it?

Red Rum

We could certainly play 2 holding mids to accommodate keita : Shaqiri! What is Hendo / Fabinho / Wijnaldum. All holding mids anyways!

It doesn't make any sense though. Fekier was not going to be protecting full backs. There are times in those kind of games where you have to be solid and times to really take the game to the opposition.

Everton are an average side so I see no reason 2 defensive midfielders aren't enough. I thought Keita was starting to show signs of improvement and we haven't seen him for 3-4 games. We should be going to Everton and prove how much better we and dominate the game.

Playing within ourselfs, is not going to win the league.

Spot on Mark

If klopp doesn’t fancy playmakers / Creative midfielders coz they leave gap behind them then good luck to next season as we will have more Milners and Lallana’s in our line up next season!

Are they working on him not leaving space behind him ed as klopp Would have known he does from scouting reports plus he would have watched him too. Seems odd if he knew and still purchased him.

{Ed001's Note - he just wants him to work back more. It is just about balance. It is not quite right with him in a 4-3-3 yet. He will get more games against the weaker sides, when it is not such a huge risk.}

We have creativity in the squad. We saw early on in the season how well Shaqiri played in the 10. But it seems that Klopp has sacrificed creativity for stability. That's not to say we don't create chances. Salah could have scored a couple last night.

Harry and Mark for the managers role. Do it together, you both clearly know more than Klopp. This could be exciting. :) .

That’s fair enough E001.
There have been some fantastic Premier League players over the years that have struggled in their first season.

Sometimes you need time to adapt.

{Ed001's Note - I am sure he will be fine in time, he has been improving.}

It's simple. They will be working on this particular part of his game. Hopefully he can obtain this information and apply into training and first 11. If not then I guess it won't work out. We all hope it does as the boy does have class.

Have you lot ever seen Keita play before?
He played in a 2 men midfield for two good years at RBL alongside a DM. He was their Mousa Dembele. Why would he need to change the game?

Salah I'm not sure we would have done any worse v Everton. We called it before the game. You would see some attacking football and maybe one or two shots from outside the box. Ha

Salah - we are all just very disappointed, we don't understand why we are so negative. VVD the best defender on the planet and Allison a top keeper but we are protecting them far too much. Let them show how good they are. Get Keita on from the start and go and win the game all this must not lose is not working.

Harry, If Keita were to play in the 433 he would be best suited to the middle of the 3 driving from deep (driving from deep seemed to be his trait from what I saw of him at RBL), but Klopp plays Fab there, and I too would prefer Fab in there. Keita in LCM or RCM does not do enough defensively to help the fullback, so where does Klopp play him?

Maybe Klopp should try him in the middle of the 3 with Fab and Hendo/ Gini either side of him; giving him freedom to drop deep for the ball and drive forward, whilst the other two do most of the defensive work. That's the only way I can see it working. But now isn't the ideal time for experimenting. Maybe preseason we will see Klopp trying such things.

Red Rum

Play keita alongside a sitting Fabinho. End off and stop worrying the gap he vacates. That is only applicable if you lose the ball. Don’t lose possession and that’s all it’s needed. Keita is supremely gifted with the feet. He dribble past players and that’s not happening playing in 4-3-3.

Why on earth should you need two players for defensive work? City has only one in Fernandinho. I repeat only One!

{Ed001's Note - so do Liverpool. Try watching the games and you might understand how we play. One sits - Fabinho. Two play a box-to-box role. That is no different than your beloved Citeh.}

Ed01.
The difference is the two box to box city has ( Silva brothers / KDB ) are also genuine playmakers with excellent track record of goals and assists.
We don’t have it!
With Wijnaldum, Hendo, Milner all contributing nothing upfront in terms of goals we need someone else.

{Ed001's Note - whatever. Pointless discussing this with you as you will just change your view to argue all the time.}

City have Silva, Silva, KDB. all of these attack naturally. No idea how many goals and assists but probably 3 or 4 times more than our midfield 3.

We have Hendo, Gini, Milner all defensive minded first. I think they have one maybe 2 goals between them and maybe a few assists.

Gini and Hendo they are more box to edge of final third players.
IMO Keita is a better box to box midfielder than any of the 3 that Klopp keeps picking. (Although Milner was great at the start of the season when on full power) .

Klopp needs to change or there will be a lot more draws ahead.

We can argue and point things out all the time
, for me the biggest mistake yestaday which was as simple as football gets,
was salah running to the back post where mane was after hendo put that ball to the back post. He simply had to make his run to the centre of the 6 yard box the place mane pulled the ball back to and the game was won,
I just cannot believe a player of his talent makes his run to where mane was already waiting.
dear me a school boy could of seen what was going to happen. And this is not dissing salah but he needs to use his head a lot more.
Ed02 is right footballers these days are thick and do not know how to think on there own 2 feet. let's just hope come may that it was a point Gained rather than 2 dropped.

I also would like to see a bit more urgency when little time left instead of two mins to go and playing the ball back to Allison, they need to go route one when time is running out and atleast try and get the goal.
Anyways onto the next game and more money spend I can only hope that the money I spend this season the team give me what a ave waited nearly 30 yrs for YNWA come on you mighty reds!
