I suggested on Hazard before the double header with Chelsea a few months ago too.
I don’t see why necessarily it is wholly negative, pick the right player (someone as versatile as Ian Ross was, for instance) and you can still play in possession.
Every time Liverpool play Chelsea, who does the damage?
I think Wijnaldum or Henderson could do a job like that, it needs someone who can read the play and think about where his opponent is going.
You could even divide the duties up to different players in different areas of the field but players like Hazard and Pogba are so crucial to their respective teams’ game plans that I feel it’s a tactic worthy of consideration?

It won't work now that the world knows. Give a player no space and even messi will not be effective. Pogba is all physical and skill. Two three good old fashioned tackles and he is out of the game. either he will stop running or do something stupid. The only man united player i am worried about is de gea. he has blinders against us and he could be a big difference for them.
