First time poster, long time reader, go easy!
Firstly many thanks to all the eds for your hard work the site is sensational-mug of coffee, bar of chocolate and liverpool rumours for half an hour-happy days.
I'd like to ask an hypothetical question especially to the regular posters salah, mk etc-would you take 92 points right now!

I don’t care if we finish on 82 points, as long as we win the league.

One more point than the rest is all we need! Does anyone remember the points tally of winnng teams? Maybe City last year as an outlier, but I’m happy just winning. Records can follow next season when we defend it!

I remember when Rafa was in charge, the magic number was 86 points to win the league. We achieved that in 08/ 09 and still didn't win the league >_.

That would be either 9 wins and 3 defeats or 8 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat.

I don't think I'd take that to be honest, considering we only play one top 6 team away from home (Utd) and only 2 more at Anfield. We can do better than that in my opinion.

I’d take 9 wins and draw versus Chelsea spurs and united away. I know it’s relying on slip ups but city dropping only four points would be a feat.

I reckon 95points is what we will be getting around.

Win the remaining 6 home games then at least 4 of our 7 away games.

Hopefully City drop points tomorrow.

Old Trafford will be key. I agree with (I think) a newspaper report that it’s going to be better to play against an OGS united than a Moaninho United!

No, I think city will draw 2 games and win the rest so we need 95 as city will have a better goal difference than us.
So space for 2 defeats and ten wins I reckon but it’s football, anything can happen mate just reckon 92 is a few points shy of what we’ll need.
