You have to give credit to the owners for how they have truly turned us around.

Record profits

Runners up in CL last season.

Currently in title race.

We are now great with our sales of players, maximising profit.

Top manager.

Quality squad.

Gotta say this is all down to our owners they have done excellent.

{Ed025's Note - i have been saying that for a while jonesy, they have taken a bit of stick on here though and for the life of me cant understand why..

08 Feb 2019 19:24:23
I said this a few weeks ago with mixed views. I think they have transformed the club.

2.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 19:49:32
One league cup in 8 and a bit seasons?

3.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 20:19:45
Somewhere, Waro has just had to lie down in a darkened room. I'll support anyone who takes us closer to winning the league for the first time since i started supporting Liverpool.

4.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 20:22:47
Sorry all, I couldn’t resist biting.
FSG have massively upped their game over the past three seasons I’d say.
Prior to that they were all over the place.
But it still remains an ideal to have an ownership model of the German or Basque variety.
Of the people by the people for the people.

{Ed025's Note - that line if from the gettysburg address juicer which is as american as you get mate, FSG have been brilliant for liverpool mate..

5.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 21:13:43
@ the juicer, yes 1 league cup won, but a champions eagle final, a europa league final, another league cup final and an Fa cup final, one game away from all of those trophies and about 2 games away from the PL. I don’t think that it’s the owners fault we’ve fallen at the final hurdle in every single major competition, if they were that bad we wouldn’t have been anywhere near those things. They’ve been unlucky, they could have been the owners that won everything possible in next to no time mate.

6.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 22:06:33
Ed25.

Clearly there’s a few on here that don’t know the previous ownership and the history of our club.

Moore’s and Parry held the club back for years, whilst gillet and hicks nearly went the club under.

{Ed025's Note - then its about time they learned drogie, these guys have bent over backwards as far as im concerned mate..

7.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 22:12:49
My turn to pipe up. The owners have done wonders last few seasons. But it's to no avail.
The reality is we have won nothing and won't. We are just the new arsenal that will finish top four every season.
I am of the opinion the owners and klopp have taken us as far as they can.
Time for the owners to step down get us some new owners that can push us further.
Klopp and the owners need to be commended for getting us this far and let a new team of owners and manager to push us to the next level.

{Ed025's Note - no walter what they need is better and more informed supporters who can appreciate what FSG have done for the club mate, and who will actually back the club in their hour of need and not whine all the time when over expectations are not met and cry like little pussies....have you got a mirror there my friend?..

8.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 22:36:06
Embarrassing Walter.

{Ed025's Note - it is benny and unfortunately hes not the only one mate, whats up with some of your so called supporters?...or should i say spoiled brats..

9.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 22:41:01
Lol Walter we're the opposite but you do make me laugh mate. I couldn't disagree more with you but you bring something different, keep your opinions coming, even if they are nonsense ;) . I still believe you only say this stuff to wind people up hahaha!

10.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 22:54:31
You can’t honestly think that can you Walter? We are level on points at the top of the league with a game in hand and in the last 16 of the Champions League having been in the final last year. What next level is there to get to?
Is there another competition that only you know about?
I’m starting to think you just love getting a reaction mate.

11.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 22:50:54
Imagine what the owners say about the fans on their website 😄.

{Ed025's Note - they probably say "that goddam walter dude is one ungrateful mother".

12.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 22:53:13
I’m really sorry Walter but you’re clearly too young to remember our previous owners.

I’ve been following the reds home and away ( not so much away now I have a 4 year old ) since the mid 80’s.

Believe me, FSG have been pretty decent.

13.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 22:54:06
My god neggie must be on a wind up surely or is he still waiting for arsenal to come through and win the league. Dear o dear it beggars belief sometimes ed025
Up the pool.

{Ed025's Note - it really does redan..

14.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 22:56:44
Spot on Ed025, I'm sure your comments are a joke Walter, but the supporters who do think this way are ungrateful. FSG have spent huge sums on Van Dijk, Alisson and others and have clearly backed Klopp in the transfer market.
The team has been significantly improved where it is challenging Man City for the title, which is impressive as City must have the best squad in Europe.
It is laughable to read comments like Walters, who make it sound so simple to just get new owners and a manager to take us further. Even if we somehow found wealthier owners we would still be resticted by FFP.
Just be glad Liverpool are competitive instead of suffering the way Leeds did.

{Ed025's Note - dont forget the ground improvements as well greenflash..

15.) 08 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 23:05:53
I can't believe this is even a topic, all you need to do is look at where we were and where we are now, no need to overthink things, that's if some 'supporters' think at all, our job is to support and inspire from the stands full stop.

16.) 09 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 23:37:20
Our owners have been great. Klopp has got what he's asked for and I'm sure will again in the summer regardless of whether we win the league or not. Commercially we have been playing catch up for years and the club's demands for a new shirt deal only show the progress we have made under FSG and the staff they have put in place. Financials looking good today. Granted we have lost a lot of finals but we've got there the important thing is we are improving season after season under both Klopp and FSG.

17.) 09 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 23:41:06
And I forgot new training complex and stadium improvements.

18.) 09 Feb 2019
08 Feb 2019 23:48:05
Bloody hell Walter mate not sure if your being serious or just trolling, but you need to get some positivity in your life.

The worst thing we could do right now is look to new owners and management.

19.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 00:03:41
I am 100% convinced that Walter is simply a long term troll. There can’t be any way a sensible fan of the club can read what he puts and thinks he has a point. From where we were to where we are now is approaching the limit of our current means, but to suggest that anybody short of an oil baron could come in and do more is just ludicrous. It won’t happen. Man City’s and PSG’s owners of the world aren’t just queueing up to spend billion after billion on what amounts to a prestigious past time.

20.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 00:14:09
Walter, isn't the schtick getting old yet?

You're coming out with such nonsense that I honestly don't think you even believe most of it yourself anymore and are putting it on to see what reactions you get. Time to leave it down mate.

Who's a step-up from FSG anyway? Someone with infinite money who'll cheat FFP and pour millions? People like that are few and far between and I wouldn't want the club run like that in any case.

21.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 00:32:50
Waro was wrong, maybe he should apologise to FSG on here lol. He doesn't deserve to bask in any glories the club have.

22.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 00:34:18
Not me rugby, I'm as steadfast in my dislike for them as ever. If they keep the current squad together and add quality (and by that I mean top quality) then I may start to thaw toward them and forgive a lot of what's gone before. But as it stands right at this very minute, the juicer is spot on, one carling Cup under there stewardship which is simply not good enough, and be under no illusion its how they've ran the club since taking over that's yielded this poor return.

23.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 00:50:52
I've said before that if you don't give Walter the reaction he's looking for, he may stop fishing.

24.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 01:09:21
As far as I can see it, we have an average squad, on its day a world beating team.

How many teams reach the Champions League final?

How many teams get to February and have only lost one game?

For crying out loud, let's forget how good we should be, and how good we used to be and look at how good we actuallly are!

anyone who states we should be winning the league every year and we need to blame the board for failing is either disillousioned or on here to wind everyone up (alla Talk S*ite)

As i said last post stop the negative but urge the positive. Get the pilgramidge to Liverpool booked for the PL trophy win, we are going good, yes we could be playing better but look at where we have been and where we are going, keep the momentum going and the good times will return.

Winning is in the eye of the believer,

25.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 01:33:04
For me it is really simple. We have increasingly stable and sustainable finances, settled on a management structure that is working and have developed a top squad that is showing it can compete regularly for silverware. That is a massive step forward conpared to where we were prior.

I think the trophy argument is short sighted really. Whilst we all want a trophy, I'm buying in to the long game which is to be like City, Barcelona etx and regular competing for titles year in year out. Last CL runners-up, this year back into CL knockout phase, title run this year. How can people not appreciate the progress made under their leadership?

26.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 01:55:49
Sorry Walter, but I have to say you are a complete troll. None of what you said came with concrete or strong suggestions, but just bashes. It's hard to not to think that you are here just to wind people up.

27.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 02:33:15
I am sure Neggie is just a bitter Arsenal fan living his fantasies through LFC.

28.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 04:08:51
lol the guy that wanted us to sign butland over Alison thinks the club has taken us as far as they can ( is that cos they didn't take that extra step and get who you wanted? )

now apparently we're the new arsenal but at the start of the season he could only see arsenal and city challenging for the league? makes no sense.

29.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 05:46:52
Rather than bash Neggie for his views, perhaps give some thought to a system that allows individuals to wholly purchase and bankrupt a sporting institution and culture and then consider the irony that has permitted the stadium of Anfield to be given protected status as an Asset of Community Value yet that protection and principle does not extend to the institution that inhabits the stadium?

30.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 07:55:45
Walter I think you need to get a hobby or a pet or something. Chill, good times are coming if not already here. Decades of domination do not happen anymore due to the strength of the league. Most fans would love to be on the ride we are on at the moment, and most of them never see their team win a thing.

31.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 08:09:16
I think people need to give Walter a break, we all can't agree on everything can we? he speaks nonsense in my eyes but it's his nonsense and if it's what he thinks then let him think it, we can't control his way of thinking. Even though he thinks differently to the majority of us he's still a valued member of the site so deserves respect as a poster, he brings something different to the table that's for sure.

{Ed025's Note - i do like the guy salah, but he does throw in hand grenades so he cant complain when there is a bit of collateral damage mate..

32.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 08:31:59
Lol I know what you're saying Ed25 mate.

33.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 09:07:07
Hey guys 1st off I really do wish you guys don't think I am a troll. I like to give my opinion. Unfortunately I am not the wordssmith some of you are and I do struggle to put a better structured post.
Salah thank you for looking out for me. You are one cool dude.
All I've ever wanted is the best for Liverpool FC. I am not a betting man but I'll bet you all a ten quid charity donation that we win nothing the whole of klopps tenure.
I don't see the issue of wanting new owners, if they were to improve us. Yes the owners and klopp have improved us no end and greatful for it, but I genuinely believe they have taken us as far as they can, ie a top four team.
I am an impatient dude that wants my team to win trophy after trophy. If klopp and co can't deliver then why not hand the reigns to a team that can deliver. All the best guys I am who I am but certainly no troll and I never mean to piss people or edds off. By all accounts my friends family co workers all seem to think I am a good dude.

{Ed025's Note - im sure you are a good dude walter, but you do like to throw the odd spanner in the works mate..

34.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 09:10:20
I doubt anybody questions his right to post and express his opinion, Mo. But to read his consistently negative views for extended periods really becomes tedious (putting it mildly) . I have no idea if it's done on purpose to provoke or he simply strongly believes his views, but it's near impossible to stay quiet. He may be passionate about his views but then there are far more who believe the exact opposite with the same passion. I remember 3-4 years ago, Waro (and another poster whose name I have forgotten) were consistently "at war" on this website with many other posters and the Eds. And then things calmed down when the opposing passions subsided.

Clearly, Walter can "pipe up" with his opinion. Let the others "pipe up back".

35.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 09:25:34
Thing is though, other people post much less negative stuff and get ripped to shreds. There’s not much consistency.

36.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 09:31:19
Wow Walter, just Wow. Owners out? Klopp out? . I really don't know what to say about that. you should probably seek medical help.

37.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 10:04:53
I got one thumbs up and about fifty thumbs down for my posts in a thread further down, then several thumbs up for a comment in the thread below and in this one. You take the rough with the smooth, because mostly you know its not personal, but if all your going to do is spout negative unsubstantiated nonsense constantly then people are going to get pretty peed off time after time. Saying the same old, “I want us to do well, but I just can’t see it”, garb just doesn’t wash. Nothing to back up, no talk of realistic arguments, just one liners designed to set people off on one. Sure, it gets people talking, but is this the conversation we should be having?

38.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 10:27:35
Fair post that ra mate.

You're welcome Walter. I look forward to your positive posts when we lift that trophy mate :) .

39.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 12:12:56
You're alright by me Walter, I appreciate you want Liverpool to win trophies etc. We are improving gradually and will no doubt do so again in the summer. Trying to find an owner who is at the same level as Man City and PSG's owners can't be easy.
It's not an excuse to say that Liverpool are always in a 4 or 5 team battle to win trophies. Barcelona and Real Madrid etc would struggle to compete with Man City over a season.
If Klopps team started dropping down the league in the next couple of seasons, or the owners stop investing in the squad then you may be right, at the moment you are over reacting.
Keep posting Walter as you make me laugh, with your Arsenal prediction being my favourite.

40.) 09 Feb 2019
09 Feb 2019 13:36:56
Hahaha the arsenal prediction is my favourite too.
