13 more wins boys, no need to panic. we’ll beat bournemouth on Saturday the Utd game is the key for me, win that and the confidence will come storming back. city know that’s our toughest game left. yes we’ve still spurs, Chelsea and Everton to play, but win that Utd game and it’ll put the pressure right on city.

DeanW, I believe that wasn't about stating facts, but more on expressing confidence. Nothing is wrong with that IMO.

When you put it that way, 12 wins and a draw seems really doable.

Do able, but Everton and united away and Chelsea and spurs to play is tough.

I honestly can't see City dropping many more points now, they have lost 4 times already this season and don't expect them to loose a 5th. Chelsea on Sunday is huge for them and us. We have Spurs and Chelsea at home, Chelsea look to have found a missing piece in Higuan and Spurs will have Kane and Ali back. United away for both us and City, they are flying under OGS and can see them taking points from us and Everton away is always tough no matter how poor the form is. Realistically we need to win all the home games and at worst win the rest of the away games and get nothing worse than a draw at United as I think City will win every game aside from United, which could well be a cracker of a draw, it sounds easy if you say it quickly but it is doable. But no more slip ups because if after the United game we are level with City with same games played they have the easier run in and a better goal difference.

DeanW, and many thought City would go undefeated YET here we are. You see how that type of rhetoric can go both ways? Support the team, man.

City will drop points spurs will drop points we will drop points but were in the driving seat people rubbishing themselves cause we drew 2 games were having a amazing season level on points with a game in hand we take care of our own business the 2 draws might be a blessing in disguise make the players work that bit harder in the run in .

DeanW, people also thought City will beat Newcastle. Come on man, support till the end. We will see where we are.

I don't think city will win every one of their games. I think we can afford another loss and a draw and that's if city go on a amazing run almost winnig all their games. I think we can drop about 7 points in the remaining matches and still win the league. That still means we have to win 10 matches draw 2 and lose 1 which will be tough.

I think people are forgetting injuries and also the other competitions we are both playing in. I also think some of the games we have yet to play such as saints away is going to be one of the tougher games due to when it falls after spurs game and just before champs league (should we beat Munich) . Burnley at home another tough one with how they seem to have rediscovered who they were last season.
Also, depending on how the relegation battle develops we have Newcastle away and although rafa would love to see us win the league I feel he holds more loyalty to surving with his current employers. Added on top of the already mentioned fixtures of utd and Everton away and spurs and Chelsea at home who are competing for top four it is a very difficult run in especially comparing our playing squad to that of city who could rest kdb and cash sterling and jesus, all came on and made a big difference against everton. We are scratching around looking for solutions with chamberlain, gomez, TAA, Henderson and gini not to mention second/ third choice cb lovren. Heaven knows what we will do should robbo or big virg get injured. I just think, as klopp says, we need to enjoy the fact we are competing, yes it would be fantastic to win but look who we are up against, let's enjoy it and support the lads regardless. Keita was a god before he even played for us with the expectation and now is the time he needs our full support to come through. Let's take the pressure off the boys and push them them with support, not criticism after a poor performance or result.

Kimuraking. th, did you see City losing to Newcastle? If the answer is no then your argument that they won't drop any more points falls flat, man. Also, we've heard all that before. "City would never drop points". Earlier in the season, many thought they would go undefeated and then they lost 4 games and that went out the window.

Fact is no one knows what will happen so those saying they can't see where City will drop points should calm down with all that. Also based on the Everton game, they will drop points cos they looked tired, jaded, disjointed and nervous. Oh n btw, we will see how they fair vs Chelsea w/ o Fernandinho who is the glue that holds that team together. In fact, they have lost when he played and have lost more games when he has not played. We shall see.
