We still have only lost 1 league game and a draw against West Ham away isn't the worst result in the league. Teams are going to up their game against us, it's a fact but they will do so against Man City as well. The midfield was always my concern as we just don't have that creative spark, which City do but still lots to be optimistic about and we just need a little boost of confidence. You never know Everton May just give us that tomorrow if they decide to turn up and give City a game. No easy game in the prem.

The odds of Everton doing us a favour, even if they were in form, would be close to zero. The fact they're playing woefully makes me think that this game is a complete write off, honestly if City score less than 4 I'd be amazed.

Agree with you about the West Ham game though. We played poorly and certainly didn't deserve to win but we didn't lose and a point, all things considered, is not the end of the world. All eyes turn to the next game - hopefully we can produce.

I actually fancy Everton tomorrow night, maybe not to win but a draw. Their team and Silva need a good performance, especially at home after the Wolves game.

If you are hoping that Everton do us a fav. then you are are barking up the wrong tree. We have bigger issues than that, lads. We have issues that we need to sort out internally and even if Everton beat City, it will NOT fix our issues and they won't just go away just cos City slipped up. We need to take care of ourselves first cos that is the way to go.

I thought keita was very poor last night, and has been in most games he's played. Gave the ball away again and again. Simply not up to it on present form. I hope he improves I really do but we need gini back. Klopp needs to get them back on it. Eds, when is Trent back?

Actually thought he along with mane was only player to be positive especially 2nd half. He had guts to pick up the ball and actually run at them and try something different to open them up. And by doing so and being brave you at times will lose the ball but give him credit for not just playing safe slow passes which is becoming a concern.
