Ed001, if I remember correctly, a poster asked you about felipe Anderson earlier in the season and if we had any interest and you said you wasn’t particularly a fan. I was just wondering if his performances this season have swayed you opinion of him? Every time I’ve watched him this season he’s been a stand out performer and I think he’d be a very welcome addition to our squad. I’m not saying we’re in for him but if we did go for him I’d be happy personally.

Thanks for the reply ed, admittedly I’ve only watched him a handful of games but that seems to be a problem with many players these days, some are on the cusp of being great players but are more than happy to coast through games and collect their pay check!

{Ed001's Note - he certainly has the talent but, yeah, just that little bit is missing from him being a truly outstanding player.}

The fact that only a club like WH were interested in such a "stand out" like Felipe Anderson, should let you know how inconsistent he is. You can "play well" and hide your poor games and inconsistencies in his game, at a club like WH where they are just happy to have you and don't care whatever you do on a consistent basis. That stuff is not going to fly tho. Just take a look at Naby (a much better player than Anderson) who is getting pelted for his perfs. whereas he just got here. Felipe Anderson is at his level and long may he stay there and well away from LFC until he gets better.

You do know that VVD was at Celtic and then Southampton before Liverpool decided to buy him? There are great players at smaller clubs you know! They done necessarily go straight to a top club.

IR, I knew Felipe Anderson since his Lazio days and trust me, he NEVER had the potential VVD had as a CB which is why he went to WH. He is TOO inconsistent and as I said earlier, he can get away with being inconsistent at WH where they are just happy to have him. That won't fly here at LFC. That was my main point. If he improves his consistency then we can talk then.
