It is actually that time to slag them and let them know that the relax and party time is over. All the hard work they did all season comes down to these final 13 game. Yes, there had to be a dip and this is it and now they have to win the title and nothing short will do.
Klopp has to know there is no better time and situation to win it. We cannot let it be and it is not the time to relax. two games stroll is enough for the lads and they need to get there act together quick starting against Bournemouth and then mauling united to get the mojo back.

Akrubbish, can you explain to me how slagging off the players is going to help motivate them?
Teams go through slumps in form and when you add injuries to the mix as well as the pressure the players are under, they need to know the fans are behind them.
Slagging them off is only going to add more pressure so what’s the point?

Absolutely agree Aks - now is the perfect time to let them know that lethargic, borderline performances will not be accepted.
If these players are so feeble as to let fan nerves affect results in such a way, they are not grown up enough to be champions.

Tbh I find it small minded to say there is no better time to win the league. Klopp is building something biggger than a flukey one hit wonder. If we win this season, mext year is another chance to win it again. If we don't win it this season, next year is anothet chanvr to win it again.

From the outside, it looks like Klopp is trying to get the team to relax and not let the pressure get to them. I think it might be having the opposite effect. They should maybe work with the nervous energy and use it as motivation.

In each of Klopp's full seasons, we've had to fight for top 4 and only got it on the last day. Same with Champions League KO-stage qualification.

For some reason, our team only seem to be able to motivate themselves when they have to win. Hopefully, we'll see that same fight we've seen before - tactically from Klopp and from the players.

Champions take criticism on the chin. They analyse their faults and overcome them. Weve shown we have the skill and the ability when things are going our way. Now things are rocking a little bit we need to show more grit and determination and passion. Its time to put our big-boy pants on and take this league by the scruff of the neck.

{Ed001's Note - champions do that with the support of those who want them to succeed. Our fans just seem to want to throw abuse, not criticise, which shows a complete lack of support when it is needed.}

Totally agree ed01 the lads got us this far and very proud of them, we get few bad games and they get abuse ometimes i wonder if they are true fans, win lose or draw support our lads, as we are in a battle for top spot not for top 6 like we have been for years, whatever hapoens get behind our team, and enjoy the ride ynwa.

{Ed001's Note - we are 3 points ahead at the top, I have no idea why there is so much hysteria from the usual kneejerk trolls that just sit waiting for any excuse to throw abuse about.}

Ive been saying that a lot when we don't win, the trolls come out slagging players off, you take the good form with the bad, normally don't come on here after we don't win, cause the abuse our team gets is unrea, i would take 3 points ahead at this stage every yesr.

Agreed Ed1 the knee-jerk reactions from some is baffling. There's almost an expectation that we should be winning every game. It's quite comical actually. I feel sorry for you having to filter through some of the comments.

Why stop at slagging them off? Let’s get the pitch forks out at the next homes games and burn effigies of the squad.

Get behind the team, they need support. If anyone does the slagging off it’s Klopp behind closed doors.

ed1 - I think you've answered your question as to why there is hysteria. it's cos they are knee-jerk trolls!

seriously tho, some of it is without logic. Say we'd been a little less lucky this season then perhaps we've be 3 points behind City at this stage. I'd still take that! Given people were saying ridiculous things like "we need to make up 25 points to City", as if we start the season -25! what!?

{Ed001's Note - we have not been that lucky. Every bit of good luck has been met with just as much bad. Injuries, bad decisions etc. We are where we are because we deserve to be. If we finish the season in 7th or 1st, then it will be because that is where we deserve to be.}
