Question for Ed 001
Keita has been hit and miss so far but there is a player there for sure. What do you think he needs to become more consistent, is it just more game time and a prolonged run in the team, or do you think he would be better in a more high energy midfield?

{Ed001's Note - just needs more time and a run without an injury interfering.}

He needs a run of games without picking up a injury plus he hasn't been playing in his prefered position, that don't help im sure, i might be wrong but isn't he still learning to speak english? I think nxt season we will see his talent we all know he got.

Did keita have much of a pri season with us eds I can’t remember?
He looked better on Wednesday pushing further up the park for me.

{Ed001's Note - with a World Cup, no one really has a good pre-season with a new team at Prem level as half their team-mates are away. The key to playing well is building up an understanding with those around you, not just so you know where and when to run, pass or shoot, but so they know where to look to pass to you.}

There is definitely a player in there cos we have all seen what he can do at RBL where he was bossing it. He is in a new league and a new club with big expectations. Frankly, I think he has been solid overall if you take the Burnley, WH (both where he bossed the game), B'mouth, Spurs, (all games where he was solid), and at Palace. I also thought he was coming into his own vs Leicester when he got taken off for Lallana who did nothing but slowed down the game whereas we needed more pace and drive and movement to break them down. That's on Klopp.

All in all, Naby needs to continue as he is doing and giving his all each time he gets a chance even tho he needs a run of games to gather more understanding with his team mates. He will be fine cos anyone that sae him play at RBL, knows he is quality.

To be honest ed01 i wanted to ask whether you felt the same. I meant i felt as if he had lost the fuse against Leicester after that penalty was denied.

Unlucky that he didn't win that peno or better yet never got fouled and could of scored himself a goal to make it 2-1 would of been a huge confidence boost for him

But luck isn't on his side so hard work is all he can do.

He holds on to the ball to long. He seems to be unsure what to do and gets tackled a lot!

Stoneage, I put that down to him adjusting to the pace of the PL cos in Germany, you have more time on the ball than in the PL. Also, he may be holdi ng on to the ball in order to get the right option to pass to as that happens a lot on the pitch. He'll be okay.
