Those aeroplanes can be fitted with a parachute system I think, but with no distress call something must have happened very quickly. even if it did have a parachute system installed we don’t know if there was a life raft on board or just life vests. if you had to go into the water you wouldn’t survive long. i have a few customers who are pilots and some of the story’s the tell you would make you worry about safety, and it’s mainly human error not mechanical.
