Trent out for a month, looks like he was playing through the pain barrier against Brighton and paid massively for it.

Troubling as he was our last, consistent, right back in the team after Clyne left. I'm guessing Milner or Fabinho will be forced to move from their respective positions and fill in during Trent's absence.

The sudden rush of defensive injuries recently has been seriously troubling. Lovren, Matip and Lovren have all picked up annoying injuries, unsurprising as they have a tendancy to pick up injuries at the worst possible times. And now Trent will be missing too.

I fear this could seriously derail Liverpool's push for the title. Man City have had a number of injuries, earlier to the mid point of the season, of varying severity, but they look to have come out of it much stronger now that those players are now fully healed (I. e. De Bruyne, Mendy, Aguero, Fernandinho and D. Silva. )

I guess it's our turn to show what we can do under the same circumstances.

Fingers crossed all goes well over the coming weeks.

Don't worry about it mate, we'll plod on. Crap news though but we'll be alright, I have no doubts about it.

Fabinho plays as Right Full Back for Brazil!
Milner played there too!
Maybe Henderson can play there too!

Is Connor Randall still on our books?

It is worrying, got to wonder what we'll line up like against Bayern!
we'll see how many drops we drop in the next month I guess. I would say it definitely decreases our probability to win the league.

For goodness sake, get a grip lads! We have ample short-term cover for right back (Milner, Fab), Matip is fit and Gomez will be back soon. Our next three PL games are Crystal Palace and Leicester at home and West Ham away. Our squad is well capable of dealing with this latest injury. Our chances of winning the PL are hardly affected at all.

Wirral Wonder - Crystal Palace and Leicester both beat City away. Your post seems to indicate these games are gimmees. Do you really believe that?

Crystal Palace and Leicester both have pace merchants on the counter.
Just what we didn’t need.
There’s no way I want to see Fabinho at RB against those two sides.
Zaha and Vardy, oh no.

Wasn’t it only 2 weeks ago I was hearing on here how Lovren and Trent are liabilities and need replacing but now they’re injured the world’s falling apart.
Stop panicking we’ve got more than enough quality to cope.

Unbelievable most fans wanted Clyne gone, now saying was a mistake to let him go. Come on we are more than fine. All of

Milner.
Hoever.
Fabinho.
And possibly Henderson can cover right back. Point is even though his injury isn’t at the best time we are more than covered. I would rather see at least one of Milner, Fabinho or Hoever play there rather than Clyne anyway.

KBL, not at all, all our opponents are worthy of respect. But so far this season we have not dropped a single point against a team from outside the current Top 5 in the PL having played 16 and won 16. I am simply suggesting that we are very far from an injury crisis and that we should have confidence in our squad to win our next 3 games.
Incidentally, Leicester beat City at the King Power Stadium although they did also beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Wirral Wonder - I stand corrected the Leicester win was at the King Power. One of the problems I see is that when we have so many defenders out at the same time we then have to pull back a midfielder which also disrupts that part of our game. I know Fabihno can play at right back, but it is still a concern for me.

We need to get past Crystal Palace and Leicester and then we have an 11 day break after which Gomez could be back.

KBL, nobody is disrespecting anyone. I mean, if that was the case, do you think we would be where we are? We don't need to be reminded that Leicester and CP beat City in order to respect them. They deserve respect regardless. I support WW here. Get a grip. There is NO injury crisis as of now.

We have enuff cover at RB with Milner and Fab and for people saying they have fast forwards, which one of their forwards is faster than Aubameyang? NONE of them and we shut him down. Chill out, man. Our boys will be back as Matip is already back in training which could allow Milner to play RB and Fab can play in midfield to protect the defenders. Please, people need stop with unnecessary mounting of pressure for no reason which does nothing but raise people's blood pressure. If anything, we need positivity and calmer heads here from now till the end of the season.
