One for the wishlist.

I'd like us to buy Adama Traore!

The guy is an absolute tank going forward, incredible pace and dribbling skills, but zero end product!

Surely we can train that up abit though? Maybe he can pick up some tips from some of our big boys.

Not sure many people will agree but that guy would be an absolute world beater if he could even pass!

Him and the million of speed merchants that have gone before him. That’s a no for me.

Not for me George. While I respect your views, I think the man is woeful. Pretty sure New England patriots are looking for a wide receiver tho ;)

Usain Bolt is lightning quick too, he can't play football either.

I’ve said that before George. His pace alone is frightening and with players to pass to once he gets there he might just be a player.

{Ed025's Note - chicken without a head for me bobby..

Nuno says you can have Traore in exchange for Van Dijk.

I hear you Ed and I agree. He’s just so fast though if only he had and ounce of ability he could be unstoppable.

{Ed025's Note - you may as well sign usain bolt then bobby..

Well screw you guys! Ill do a swap deal with him and origi on FM in a heartbeat and put him on targeted training. If I can do it then so could Klopp! So there!

Adama Traore
Solomon Rondon

😄 it’s been a funny silly season.

GeorgeT, I get what you mean. He'd cause panic and with better options in the final third he might occasionally get something right.

However, I think there are players with maybe a little less pace who could add more to us due to far superior quality.

Laxalt for example. Great pace, can play Left back, left wing and attacking midfield. Also has better end product than Traore.

{Ed025's Note - so would a greyhound..

It has to be James Forrest surely, then you can shout in your best Alambami accent “run Forrest run” 😀.

You joke Ed but if YouTube has taught me anything it is that dogs can be trained to be footballers. I've seen Retrievers who keep goal better than Joe Hart and still have shinier blonde locks. I've seen a Staffy with a better first touch than Lukaku actually as well!

{Ed025's Note - if you see that dog around MK...give marco silva a shout will you mate.. :)

You finally given up on Pickford? Or Tosun? 😂.

Bolt is a bit old these days Ed otherwise I’d be all over it!

GT, you probably want to watch what he does after he runs himself into blind alleys. Not for me, I'm sorry. Traore is a Complete headless chicken, selfish, wretched attitude, plays for himself and most importantly has very poor end product. Apart from all that, Traore would make a great NFL Linebacker.

George T, just checking - you are suggesting that Liverpool Football Club should sign Adama Traore? To play football? For Liverpool Football Club?

16.) 14 Jan 2019
14 Jan 2019 23:06:11
Traore is indicative of the problem in modern day football. He is an athlete and not a football player. In particular in the UK we have this obsession that footballers need to be athletes and everything else is secondary.

P.S. he is a tremendous athlete yet woeful footballer IMO.

Adama Traore? U mean the new Nabil el Zhar?

18.) 15 Jan 2019

well said Toe knee. Its a particular issue in the UK, but when it comes to football fans in general its also the result of social media and youtube.

Yes it looks impressive when Traore or someone like Zaha regularly makes defenders look silly with their pace and trickery as shown in highlight reels, but they don't show the complete lack of end product or footballing intelligence. Traits that are much more important in a player, hence why there are plenty of top class players who are slow as anything.

I'm with you on this George. Whenever I play FIFA, manager mode, I will look for speedsters rather than anything else. I won lots of titles!

20.) 15 Jan 2019
15 Jan 2019 06:10:06
RedWolf, he's more running back material. But seriously, haven't we learned our lesson from the likes of Markovic and others? All speed and nothing of anything else. It should already tell you something when the Barcelona academy gave up on him and sold him off.

21.) 15 Jan 2019
15 Jan 2019 06:33:01
He's on Bolasie's level.

22.) 15 Jan 2019
15 Jan 2019 06:59:30
He is not even that quick, he is just strong built so it looks like he is running fast. robbo would have him in the pocket everyday. its simple if the winger can't beat robbo and TAA i don't think we need them. i like that cavaleiro chap from wolves though. I think he is a clever palyer, has little pace in comparison (not slow though) but better brains.

23.) 15 Jan 2019
15 Jan 2019 08:47:01
Great shout ArAy. Get him to the NFL!

24.) 15 Jan 2019
15 Jan 2019 12:37:41
I believe adama traore showed his skillset against us in the league game.

Fast with zero composure and zero smarts.

Wouldnt be anywhere near worth what his transfer fee would be.

25.) 15 Jan 2019
15 Jan 2019 12:46:09
And didn't Jamie redknapp claim (on TV) that Micheal Owen was literally a greyhound when he was young.

That said, klopp has proved he can turn apparently average players into absolute world beaters. Robbo and the ox come to mind.

26.) 15 Jan 2019
15 Jan 2019 19:46:37
Liverpool will not be signing traore so put it from your mind.

Oh and by the way it's because he's poor.

27.) 15 Jan 2019
15 Jan 2019 19:57:38
Sorry Robbie BUT Traore ain't one of the guys Klopp can "turn" into a world beater. For you to be a world beater, you have to have some level of talent and quality for the manager to work with. Traore has ZERO of any of these except of course if you are trying to groom him to become an NFL running back or linebacker, something I doubt Klopp can actually achieve.
