Hi Ed002

You mentioned previously about our interest in Ramsey. It seems he is going to Nuce in the summer so wanted to ask please did we actually speak to his agent or Arsenal regarding him, and why did we not opt to push for him in the end?

I think he is a great player, we need a midfielder who can score. All title winning teams have midfielders that score. Do we?

Yes, we have shaqiri. Milly gets the penalties and has banged in one. Gini sometimes pops up in the right place but has only got 1 I think.

The worry with Ramsey is his injury history. He may become good friends with sturridge. And he knows AOC

But in seriousness, he is an intelligent player, far from average. He would have our style of play sorted easily and would be able to play on day 1.

If it was up to me I'd sign him. He can play anywhere in the top end of the pitch. But best in the whole behind our big 3. If he stayed fit, he would be a real asset.

And let's not forget. Everyone said the same thing about the ox, robbo and even mo salah. If klopp signs him, I trust the guy. Know what they're doing in the recruitment team.

It’s a fallacy that he’s a ‘goal scoring midfielder’ he’s only ever scored double figures once in his career. He’s not an intelligent player at all, I struggle to see how he would get in our team, he couldn’t pay in the hole behind our front three as it requires a player with vision to play that sort of role and he doesn’t have that kind of ability. I doubt that he’ll be a regular starter at Juve in any case. His passing range isn’t great, he’s not the quickest and his shooting ability is best described as ‘meh’. Bullet dodged in my opinion.

He's not even a midfielder. Most of his goals come when he plays on the left wing.

He will probably win goal of the season, and he is an intelligent player. But w/ e I'm happy with our team. And like I said. His injury record would put me off. I could see us taking him on a free in the summer after we sell lallana.
