£50m? He’s not worth fifty quid. Journeyman pro at best with one ‘good’ season in a very mediocre career. Plus he’s a United supporter so he can do one. He’s been appalling this season when he’s played so he’s returned to his actual level. If he wasn’t an English defender he wouldn’t even be considered.

Macca said klopp liked tarkowski. He predicted we would sign him, obviously macca knew what he was talking about.

When are people going to stop doubting klopp's signings?

It was the same with Oxlade Chamberlain, Andy Andy andy Andy Robertson. And even mo salah.

If klopp likes him I think he would be brilliant next to VVD. he's a battler and would make a great Henchoz to our knew hypia.

50mil? Seems a lot. But Dyche knows the big boys spend big money and tarkowski is a big part of his first 11. He will need a lot of cash to replace him and maybe look for a few bargains too, to fill out his squad.

I think we should buy him. I think the reason klopp didn't go for him in the summer was because of gomez's progress. But we are struggling with injuries, especially at CB. Two games could cost us the title. Its expensive business trying to win the league.

Klopp likes him, I would value the lad at £35mil but Dyche knows the score. Burnley could do with some cash. And just think. No more Joel matip strolling around in no man's land, or coming on with 5 minutes to go and making a mistake.

Sell Joel, 100% profit as he was a free transfer.

Dyche has been found out this season, as have his defenders. Tarkowski is slow, makes poor decisions, is terrible with the ball at his feet and he lacks intelligence, he’s a mid/ lower level championship player at best and he looks it too. He’s also a dyed in the wool United fan which tops it off for me. Are we seriously to believe that for £50m there aren’t better options available across Europe?
