4 points clear with 17 games left of a team that broke all records last season- I'd have laughed at you mid-August if you'd posted that on here.

People, media included, forget we were getting pasted early on this season for our front 3 misfiring

Apparently we've suffered no injuries or suspensions either so thatsto come too (Gomez, Hendo anyone? )

The pressure, if there was any, of going unbeaten is lifted.

The possibility of complacency by being 10 points clear, if there was any, has gone.

We can do this- we are in a fantastic position to do this- and we will do this.

{Ed025's Note - i cant ague with that agger mate..

Exactly, spot on. I would much rather be 4 points in front than 4 behind and chasing. We haven’t suddenly become a bad team because we lost narrowly away to the reigning champions who were favourite for the title again. It’s still in our own hands and that’s the way you should want it. For all those muppets ringing talk sport saying Klopp should go. Who would they want in to replace him. Klopp has done wonders for the club progression is happening and turning into a feared team the way it should be. He gets the best out of players that weren’t fancied by many. So let’s get behind our team and hope they get past the finish line.

Not to mention the Ox missing, Trent missed 3 games after he picked up an injury against Napoli. Matip .

Good points there AggerDo have to agree with you. Last night was unfortunate and probably the 1st match since Gomez injury that we really missed him. Not only his pace and awareness but his long throw could've been handy in the latter stages last night. I'm not to concerned about last night this fixture was always the toughest of the campaign and we've only 3 fixtures against the so called top 6 to play 2 are at home.

Spot on, AggerDo. City would give an arm to be where we are right now. Remember that before you moan about us losing a game to a class team on their patch by fine margins.

Point to one reds fan who would not have bitten your arm off to be in this position going in to the back 9 at the start of the season.

Last season, although we beat City, I felt we hit them on the counter and rode our luck at times. This season we look very very evenly matched. The progression from last season is plain to see, even if we did lose.
