I think a tired taa still brings more than any version of Clyne. I feel he makes amazing runs and receives the ball and slows everything down looking for a pass and when he does, it’s usually misplaced. I also think he gets caught out of position too many times and like to go for little walks too much. Shame cos I think he’d have been a great player with better training in his youth.

I think to say TAA was awful last night was a little harsh, but it wasn’t his best game and up against good opposition. TAA needs competition at the moment especially with Gomez out it’s his position, his delivery hasn’t been great recently, admittedly he put in the cross to Robertson to knock back for the goal but he put in plenty of terrible crosses. Don’t feel Moreno offers much competition to Robertson but I think it would take a lot to displace him, where I feel a half decent right back could really challenge for TAA place in the team.

Just a bit of a stupid decision to let him go just before the wolves game where we’d probably need to rotate and I think overall it may come back to bite us (unless we have something else planned) . TAA being our only established right back with the schedule from now until the end of the season isn’t the best thing going forward. The lad needs rest and he just recently came back from a minor injury, clyne played a good game against United, proved he’s a valuable back up option and now he’s off to Bournemouth. Makes zero sense to me personally, I know Fabinho can cover but he’s not what I’d want at right back, I prefer him being available to play midfield if TAA was to get injured. I’m guessing Klopp is relying on Milner and Fabinho to play right back if needs be and that strikes me as stupidity personally.

‘TAA awful last night’. Really Red ham1? I thought he was alongside VVD and a Robbo as our stand-out performers. I thought he kept Sane out of the game until City’s second goal and even then I thought he had no option but to go with Aguero’s run into the box, and we were one short in defence leaving Sane with the space to finish which he did brilliantly. I thought his passing and crossing were good and overall I thought he was a 7.5 or maybe 8 out of 10. But we all see games differently I guess.

{Ed025's Note - im with red ham WW, to be fair he was up against a very good player in sane but he made a lot of mistakes mate, hes only young and sill learning of course so its not unexpected..
