Ok reds. Would you sign a right back and keep gomez with vvd. Or would you sign a cb to play with vvd and play gomez at rb. ? Something has to happen. Too many times get caught out down that channel.

The problem with TAA is he had a lack of support from those infront of him. They weren't mobile enough to cover the distance, that's purely down to our style of play and levels of stamina and concentration. A new player now would be a poor move. Taking him out of the firing line and replacing him with the more experienced Clyne would be the more prudent move for now, letting him work on the faults. VVD, Gomez and Matip (when fit) offer good protection and a failsafe option from the CB position, so when they play TAA can get away with mistakes. It's all about working and communicating as a defensive unit, game intelligence about analysing the weaknesses and strengthening or compensating for them. In short; signing a new player won't fix it, better teamwork and training will.

I don't see the need for that change. Just first defeat of the season. It doesn't make us in need of a new signing to change the best defence in the league.

IF I had to chose it'd be another RB, Gomez I trust at CB but not so much at RB.

theres no reason to change gomez and vvd partnership. they have been very solid together.

we need a RB bt i wouldn't say we have been. caught out too many times there. maybe for the summer.

Trent didn’t have his best game but I do think Gomez’s pace would have been helpful alongside Trent in this game. Lovren didn’t have his best day against Sane and Aguero.

I'm not talking about " one gane"! N knee doesn't jerk easily! Listen has been at fault many times, not last night. Vs man Utd, vs spurs? I was asking all IF it was a change which one? . For me a top rb. Gomez has been fantastic.
