Great review as always Ed. The BBC are reporting that we have interest in Brighton's Pascal Gross today. Do you know of any interest from us?

{Ed001's Note - is it BBC or BBC reporting on what others say?}

Morning eds.
what do think about VAR eds1. I think if they speed up the process and play it on the screens it can help. There is so much pressure to win these games that every decision has to be right. And the refs need all the help they can get.
On to an other question if I can if VAR does come in will all club need big screens and are Liverpool planning on fitting one. Most club have them but not us!

{Ed001's Note - it is run by the same incompetent cheating bar stewards as run the game, nothing will change.}

Ed01, I agree 100% with your view of VAR. We have incompetent, cheating referees and incompetent, cheating administrators in the PL and FA. Remember that fat fool Jon Moss getting caught by Sky Sports speaking over his mic and asking the 4th official did he see anything when he was dithering over the Harry Kane penalty incident at Anfield last season? It is against the laws of the game for a referee to refer to the 4th official in this way, he was caught bang to rights and got away with it scot free. I have zero confidence that VAR officials will be any less incompetent and corrupt.

{Ed001's Note - not just got away with it, the PGMOL actually lied and made up an interpretation that never existed previously to excuse his mistake in awarding the pen!}

Yeah it's their gossip column sorry Ed. It looks as though it was reported in a local paper (in Brighton) .

Asst Ref, 'Did Lovern touch the ball? If he did, that is not offside, if he didnt, its offside. So did Lovern touch the ball? '

Note: the only time a player can go on to score without being ruled offside is when an intentional back pass was played. much as Lovern messed up his clearance, in no world would that have been considered a backpass.

Jon Moss, 'I don't know. I'm going to give it'.

Note: ain't referees suppose to call what they saw rather than call what they guessed?

the asst ref invents a new interpretation while Jon Moss guessed. sometimes i look back at these instances and try to enjoy it as comedy.
