Shaquiri's weak foot is better than Clyne's strong one.

Shaqiri was great, a £13 million bargain. I do not agree with the dig at Clyne though. There have been a few on here already.
He has been out a long time and I thought he did ok. Of course he was not great but he did a job for us and lasted 90 minutes.

Jordz not having a dig at you but i've been asking the question all night with no answer. You say kieta was great when i must of missed it. People pan gini for going awol but what did kieta do i must of missed it as i don't get why people are saying his performances are great he was anonymous to say the least.

Spot on, Greenflash. Clyne for someone who had not played all season for whatever reason, I thought he had a solid game. He lacks the attacking impetus and ability of TAA but we already knew that and the team was set up for him to just do his job esp. with the speed demon Rashford to contend with.

Keita tried to drive us forward, beat a man and pick that perfect pass. Sometimes he needs to just lay it off or play a quick ball. But he’s trying good things and working hard. I think once he gets the Liverpool style a little more, he will be great!

You do not beat a team like Man Utd the way Liverpool just did carrying passengers. Every player contributes in a positive way, some more than others obviously. Have a bit a common decency and enjoy the win instead of being a football supremo, which you aren't off course and slagging off players. Liverpool 3- Man Utd 1.

All the lads in Liverpool shirts were good today.
Even Fabinho has won me over, I’m pleased to say.
He’s now started against Everton and Man Utd and been arguably our best midfielder in both.
I thought Wijnaldum was excellent today also, a real dynamo.

Poor post! You can praise one player without slating another player. That was Clyne’s first start of the season and he did fine. Clyne gets a lot of stick on here and whilst he clearly has his limitations he is a decent premier league right back. There is no need for any digs at him today.

Clyne’s performance was astonishing today. I admit that I was concerned before the game, not because of any lack of ability, but because it was his first appearance of the season and in such a big game. He kept Rashford quiet for virtually all of the game and he lasted the full 90 minutes. A wonderful comeback for the lad after so long out. And Keita? He drove forward with the ball, leaving the woeful United midfielders in his wake and getting at the United backline. Nobody in a Liverpool shirt played badly today and Fabhino, Wijnaldum, Firmino and Robertson were excellent. Great team performance and a great atmosphere inside the ground.

I was worried when I saw Clyne in the lineup today but he did alright considering. Why on earth Klopp picked him for this game I’ll never know.
Having said he did ok, all Man Utd attacks came via the Clyne/ Lovren flank.
Don’t know why anyone is digging out Keita or Wijnaldum, they both had good games and there was very little space for them most of the time.

Clyney did pretty good I thought, the last game before today he looked very rusty and tbf he didn't look like he could run that well. But he was solid today considering he had to come in to the united game, not an easy fixture and looked pretty sharp for most of it. Obviously getting on a bit, but he did well.

Clyne hasn't been part of the team setup for quite some time, so it's really commendable for him to have stepped up and performed the way he did with such short notice. But at the same time I wouldn't go as far as saying that he was exceptional or spectacular. He provided a lot of support on the right wing with short passes and closing down, but that's all I remember. And defensively he did okay; I don't remember him being under serious continuous threat and attack the way Rashford and Lukaku went after TAA in the last game (why didn't they? ManU is such a mess right now) .

All in all, a job well done.

Agree with most here. Clyne was okay. Just a bit of criticism would be on Robertson. I think he wasn't that okay taking corners and set pieces.

Firmino was enjoying himself, right? Lots of flicks from him.

p1 no worries, football all about opinions. I just like how Keita is always looking to go forward, still don't think he is anywhere near his best but last few games he's been getting better and more consistent. I though Wij had a decent game too but he's just too inconsistent for me but maybe that midfield three are the ones that can kick on together as all three had a decent game. Be interesting to see that midfield against a city or top team in champs league see how they fair.
