After having a quick browse the only outlet who had claimed that is the S*n😬 so based on that i’ll believe it when i see the team sheet.

Regardless i don’t think it will matter too much, tactics will be key against United rather than personnel.

I wouldn't be too confident. Bournemouth did try to get at Milner (particularly in 2nd half) and had some success. Milner was working hard but its pretty clear he wasnt used to that position and his combo with Shaquiri and Gini couldve been better. i've no doubt Jose was looking at that and Martial will have instructions. Having said that Milner works hard and we could do a lot worse.

If Clyne is truly completely "unusable" as it seems to be (for whatever the reasons) we should stop the dilly dallying with moving other players to backup TAA and buy a young RB with future potential. Yes, Gomez will be back, but there still should be a dedicated backup to TAA. Gomez has shown he can easily alternate between RB and CB, but i wouldn't think it's a prudent thing to do on a permanent basis.

Martial is out to. It will be milner B's rashford on Sunday. TAA will most likely miss the wolves game also. Gomez and Matip till the later part of January. We still have a certain Clyney on huge wages we can call up and Fabinha can slot at RB or CB. We also have some young defenders. My only fear is that Lovren always finds a way of picking injuries at the wrongest of times moreso with a congested run of games after wolves then Newcastle then Arsenal then City. We'd definitely drop points but I hope it doesn't create too much gap between us and city if we drop to second place.

think your over estimating United there Phil they will not leave the half and will be sitting back with two banks of 5 to stifle us Milly if he did play there has nothing to worry about, personally I think TAA will be fine or Fabinho will be deployed there.

Heir, Ed has said Clyne should not be expected to play this weekend due to some "lifestyle" issues which he did not get into and neither will I even if I knew what they were. As for Milner playing RB, he is who we have and the hope is that he can play and start there come Sun and if he can't, it will have to be Fab to come in for him.
