My view on tonight and going forward, for anyone that is interested. With mane and robbo injured, that's two key players, if we could've replaced them in the starting line up and still coped well, that says our strength in depth is better than previous seasons. When I saw all of the other changes, I did panic a little. Realistically, we didn't start well but by the time the first tactical substitute had been made, we had equalised. I was very happy to see klopp still make the same substitutes even though we had equalised, I was worried he may tell one of them to sit back down. The thing is, so many times we have thought, when city or others in previous seasons have not had it their own way, we have been envious of the quality they've brought off the bench, we were 1-1 and brought two quality, some would argue world class players off the bench and finished the game off. And they got some rest in as well. I don't agree with so many changes but it worked, we got three points and that is what we'll be judged on going forward.

Second point, everyone has argued city won't drop many points but if teams go at them, they are vulnerable. This is true but the wrong time of the season to do it. Teams set up against city for damage limitation at the moment. That's why they run riot. Getting into the last quarter of the season, with the bottom of the table likely to be close between six or seven teams, that is when teams have to throw caution to the wind and just go for it. That is where I believe city will drop points. If we can still be there or thereabouts at this time, we will stand a very good chance. Bearing in mind, even if we'd started our full strength team today, Burnley still would've had a go. If this was city tonight, you would've seen a different Burnley. They hold the rear factor and rightly so, the way they play. I'm not interested at the moment in waiting for city to drop points as I don't think it'll happen yet so all I focus on is Liverpool getting three. In the last 8-9 games of the season, when staying up is a must for some of the bottom teams, added to a possible champions League run that city may concentrate on more, I can see them dropping some, not many, but maybe enough for us to get what we've been waiting for, for so many years.

Either way, we've started brilliantly, we haven't hit maximum potential as yet and we've at got players who are only now beginning to find their game at Liverpool. Oh, and if I didn't mention it, we're in second place and two points behind one of the best teams in the world. A lot to be positive about right now and I will continue to be optimistic and enjoy what we're achieving at the moment as I strongly believe, there's a lot more to come from us.

Have a good evening everyone, another three points bagged and here's to many more.

2 players I would not like to have to replace are Van Dijk and Alisson.
