how many supporters would rather we went out of Europe this year to concentrate on the title?

Personally I’d rather we went out this year, I think we have a real chance this year of the title, and if dropping out of Europe gives us a slight edge in the league I’d take it.
Wednesday game proved that it’s not about having strength in depth in the squad, it’s more about how well the other team dive or how biased a ref is allowed to be.

Just thought I’d ask others what their opinion was.

I'm with you mate, the league is more important right now imo.

Couple of things mate. I want to win the league more than anything but we need to be in the champions league for so so many reasons, attracting top players, the financial side of progressing and the fact that European football is in our DNA. It concerns me more dropping into the Europa League.

As for Wednesday, yes there was a lack of gamesmanship from certain players and the ref wad appalling too. But that was not the reason we lost, on the night, PSG were the better team imo. No excuses.

I’m more concerned about our midfield against better teams, as apposed to Neymar plying for an Oscar.

Lifelong I would like us to challenge on all fronts but am realistic enough to know that is not always possible. I don't want us to go out of the CL but if we did then it’s not the end of the world. The premier league title is our Everest as we’ve never actually conquered it and if we were to win that then it would be the pinnacle. On a separate note PSG’s antics on wed night we’re pathetic and embarrassing but that is not the reason we lost the game. We never turned up like we haven’t Away in the CL all season. We have an opportunity to put it right at home to Napoli and if we don’t I for one won’t be blaming the oppositions diving antics or the referee. That’s an easy cop out any team can use.

We will qualify for the last 32 or the UEFA Cup, we’re already out of one cup I’d be gutted to be out of two this early.

Yeah! But will put massive pressure on us winning the league, if we don't Win it then the season will be called failure and a lot of questions will be asked to our manager.

I don't believe we can realistically finish last so we will end up in Europa league.

I would much rather we qualified. Whether we win it or not.

Given that we can either qualify or (likely) finish 3rd - BTW we can finish last if we lose to Napoli and Red Star beat PSG, in which case Napoli will be top with 12 points, PSG second with 8, Red Star 3rd with 7 and us last with 6, but that's very unlikely - I'd rather we carry on in the UCL as I agree that Thursday/ Sunday will affect our league chances.

I don't think we'll win it as I think Klopp is really pushing for the league this season. I just hope Man City falter first!

Personally, I want to win every game we play regardless of competition BUT that is tough to ask. Now having said that, should we go out or not go far in the CL regardless of if we get out of the group or not, we can fully focus on the PL and trying to win the FA Cup. It will be what it will be but I really hope we qualify for the next round cos I just can't stand LFC losing a game.

We play the best when we play 2 games in a week. Whenever i gave seen us play after a week break they look lethargic to me- physically but more so mentally. We belong in european footy, if we lose to Napoli then we certainly don't deserve to progress. But Europa league is not the end of the world and another chance to compete for a trophy.

What’s the point in qualifying for the champions league if you’re not going to take it seriously.

Winning is a habit 👍.
